Certain things won't appear on my island...

In Dragon Story, there are certain things that won't appear in my game:

1. The ship to the arctic isles
2. The tournament arena

It's version 1.0.7.6 and I'm playing on an Android... I really want these things to show up! They aren't even invisible, they are just not there. I'm level 19, but I have a friend that is level 8 and the ship shows up for them... please help!
