Food on counters disappeared!?

so I was renovating my bakery and when I finished I noticed that the food on the counters were gone. funny thing was, I was actually buying counters and switching out the old ones. I didn't store all of my old counters before I bought the new ones because i thought i would lose the food i have been saving up. Turns out i did anyways. Is there anyway I can get all the food that I was storing back. I must have has past twenty thousand of each food (more or less). Now its all gone.

If that is true, then this game is a flop. I have been playing since May and I haven't noticed this until now. I must have had more than a million dollars and now its all gone because I decided to renovate my once ugly bakery.
How disappointing.
