sorry if i just haven't been playing long enough, but the lab assistant is part of the goals, and according to other thread costs 8 gems. i've never seen goals that require you to spend gems before, is that right? has that happened before? this is definitely not a happy development for me.

You get the lab assistant for free. To buy additional ones, that's not needed for the goals, costs 8 gems. So you're good!

THE LAB EXPERIMENT DECOR: Mine was locked until I finished part of another goal, then I automatically got a free one. If yours doesn't do that, ask to have your game checked, and hang back and wait before buying it for gems. Complete the other goals in the meantime.

Yea, I got the lab assistant, it's a cute kitty. the lab experiment was another matter. Earlier in the day today greygulls reward for necessary precautions goal line was only coins and experience. Now it's coins, exp AND the lab experiment decor. So, just to restate, once I completed that part and moved on to 'Hop to It', the lab experiment decor did NOT show up and I had to buy it for $22,000. Is this then a glitch or was that part of the goal just edited to change the reward? I'd like my $22,000 back if the second one is the case. Have been saving for months for the last expansion @ $10m (at least I'm hoping it's the last expansion)

I believe TL has made a change to the Necessary Precautions goal. I've already completed it, but I am asking for more info. I think the reward now should be coins, xp, and unlocking of the Lab Experiment (finding out if there should be 1 free for completing the goal).

Ok, I think I've got it now (lol) - for those who have not completed the Necessary Precautions goal, the Lab Experiment should be locked by goal, near the end of the floor decorations tab. For those who have completed the goal, it will be unlocked and available to purchase for 22,000 coins. The goal does not reward one for free (:(), but at least the price didn't change (:)).

have you tried re-installing the game? i'm on android and everything appeared normal to me.

I am on IOS and no I don't have the Halloween version, but anyway I gave upon it after reaching the Confection Lab since reaching all the goals before it did not unlock the Labs I am supposed to brew with 44 potions of Ice something... I am not going to waste my time on it. the kitty was cute but the experimental lab IMHO is an eyesore, I definitely do not like it. I'd rather meat other goals. I'm on ios too and haven't encounter any issue with the goals yet. Have you try force closing your game? Are you using the latest regular version?

Complete the other goals first. The locked parts are unlocked by other goals (or just parts of them) in the set, you have to work back and forth, doing what's available, until it all comes together. :)

What level are you? Seems some recipes are only available to levels above 60 or so. Just doesn't seem right since holiday/seasonal items should be available to all who play.

Radioactive sundaes are the third recipe on the confection lab. you have to make all the jack 'o apples before you can start the sundaes.

I cannot recall the exact order of all the goals, but if I recall correctly, you have to have completed all three recipes on the betwitched stove including the frog legs.

Hi. You pointed me right back to this same thread which I had scanned yesterday. I read through that again but still don't understand why I have to finish Creepy Crawley to unlock something in Necessary Precautions (which was completely unclear, but someone on another board told me directly what needed to be done). It really makes no sense. They should just be together in the same goal window. Thank you, though, for your response. I really appreciate it. :)

I already restarted my restaurant, my device (android galaxy) but i only have a huge empty space where the decor should be, and when i tap on it, I see its name - "costume contest" but dont see the item.

is it still getting invisible? if yes...have u tried to clear cache? i am on same device as you have...and getting that too...that some of the stuff in my shop are invi or in other word..it dont load properly...even visiting other friends shops i seen like that too..it takes minutes to load stuff...

going by how they did it last year, all or most of the new recipes will be taken away, even if mastered.
especially the holiday themed ones.

So you've completed all 3 recipe goals on the bewitched oven? Chicken fingers, mummy dogs, & frog legs??? If you have, then the confection oven should be available to purchase.
If not, try force closing the app and then reopening it should reconnect you to TLs servers.

I agree with meme, I don't think that confection oven unlocked for me until I completed every set of the "Finger Food" goal. Which is have 4 Skeletal counters, 8 Scary Chicken Fingers, 10 Mummy Dogs. While I don't see the Frog Legs on the screenshot in Post #1 of the thread previously mentioned, I'm sure its there. If you still have that goal, try to see if the Goal window will scroll. Sometimes all of the steps don't fit on the initial screen and you have to scroll down to read the rest of the steps.

I use to have this problem, it was actually a space issue, so I cleared all cache un installed the game then reinstalled and never had the problem again, just clear your cache daily...:)
is it still getting invisible? if yes...have u tried to clear cache? i am on same device as you have...and getting that too...that some of the stuff in my shop are invi or in other word..it dont load properly...even visiting other friends shops i seen like that too..it takes minutes to load stuff...

Did he do the frog legs? That should come after finger foods, then the confection lab should unlock and he can continue on with the goal.

I'm really upset that in order to master these goals, you have to rely on neighbors that may or may not even be playing anymore or use your hard to get gems. Yeah, they give the first oven for free as a reward, but the next goal requires you have 2 of them, so you need to request parts or use gems. And the number of items you need to make on the machine is an ungodly amount that requires multiple ovens. Me completing a goal should NOT be dependent on my neighbors. I'm finally done with the Jack O' Apples, but with 8 days left, 26 required and a 12hr cook time, there's no way I can complete the radioactive sundaes and get the reward I've been working my tail off to get!

Maybe it's time you clean up your neighbors list an replace the "low quality" ones. If you visit community members and read their walls you can find daily players who tip and gift you regularly and answer your requests within 24 h, usually much sooner. Good neighbor may give you 870 coins income each day by tip and gift. Of cause they expect you to return the favors. :)

Agreed :) Players have been asking for ages for goals to be re-released, and it's great to see that the developers are moving in that direction. It may not be perfect, but at least it paves the way for making it possible in the future.

Plus, we still have the whole month. It's just as possible that the devs are working on opening the goals to all players, and this may happen later in the month.

I personally think it's a great step forward. I just hope, if we get something similar in the future, that older players can finish the goals as well. (In particular, I'd love to continue the November 2013 goals!) :D

These aren't our monthly October goals, their just re-released for anyone who didn't do them.

Current September goals expire Friday 10/21/16, so most likely get our October goals Wednesday 10/26/16.

But I'm kinda bummed too, wanted a few more Spider Tables myself. Didn't buy that many last time, hoping I could get more of those plus other goal items but oh well :(

Once you've completed "Finger Food" goal it will prompt "Hop To It Goal" which is the third and last recipe on Bewitched Stove. Then as soon that one done, it will unlock Confection Lab.

I agree GOOD JOB STORM 8! So many people have been requesting the haunted clock tower and many other items that you have re-released. I bet if they checked with their marketing department, they would see an increase in sales of gems because of this release . Let's face it a lot of people that play this game prefer the older designs. The newer designs are childlike and most of us are adults even middle-aged . I bought a ton of stuff already and I plan on buying every re-released item this month. Keep it coming storm 8! Bring on the older Christmas stuff bring on the older Easter stuff ! I will be a customer😊

Just realized there's an anomaly with the spider tables. They've been available all along tho are now on the limited time timer.

I have 5 restaurants, 3 are at level 99 and had previously purchased spider tables, 2 had none.

The three level 99 with previous purchases now can no longer buy more, price is blank.

The two lower level places without prior inventory CAN purchase them.

How is this logical??!! How is this fair?

This is still wrong. I completed the goals long ago and if it weren't for poorly executed "new" goal status, i could still buy them.

The same applies to Spectral ovens. I should be able to buy more to add to prior inventory but nooo...

You can use the Login feature to transfer your storm ID and games over to your phone. Do ensure that you are logged unto your Game Center before you start your games on your phone.

It must be the version of the game that you are playing. I'm on android, with the new fall version of Rs. I just checked my appliances, and they aren't even listed as available!

I'm on android too & the latest rs version I have is Food Lab. Is there a newer version? Mine doesn't show the 2013 appliances (only the new goal appliances Bewitched Oven & Confection Lab plus the hot air stove).
