Hear ye hear ye! I have all my dragons healed (well,the main ones) so that's not the problem for me. The problem is, this is rushing it. Alas... Really not the ideal time for me as i have an extremely busy week coming up. :( not gonna be able to play often. This sucks.

Complete Guide to Kaleido Tournament Victory -- all the rounds in one place!

Each challenger (arena's dragon) is followed by the rarity to be used and the colors/elements that are strong against it.

COLOR: Pick champions that have one or more strong colors against the challenger. Colors listed twice are NOT an error; they are actually scored twice because they are strong/weak against more than one of the challenger's colors!
RARITY: For the scoring grid currently in use, you only need to match the challenger's rarity. You may use a higher rarity, but you won't get extra points for doing so. C is common; R is rare; S is super-rare; X is unbreedable or retired; U is ultra-rare.
LEVEL: In rounds 1-20 try to use your highest level dragons after selecting for color and rarity. For rounds 21-25 and 26-30 strategies may vary, read the advices from other people!

Count yourself lucky. I've over 40 waiting to be healed. Really took a hit last tournament due to my refusal to use gold.

I didn't use any gold either, and haven't in the last 4 tournaments. But since I don't have any diamonds, I now use baby Fire/Forest on the high level diamond opponents, and that cuts way down on my casualties. I had TONS of dragons to heal after the Phoenix, Ethereal, and Kaleido tournaments. I've started the last 3 tournaments with over 30 dragons down (but still won them all without diamonds and without using gold). The baby Fire/Forest strategy is really a life saver.

Ninja doesn't appear to be a good match up for the diamond dragons

Yeah, I see that now...I thought he wasn't supposed to have any weaknesses and that diamond was only "neutral" towards him. So I'm not sure how it works out that he's only 10% against the diamonds like all the others. I guess he isn't of any value as I thought, and I'm going to have an awful time with the diamonds again. Really bummed. :(

I hope you have much better luck this time!! In the last tournament, I spent about a day each battling Infinity, Quetzal, and Ninja with mostly babies, so I know it can take a long time, but from experience in the earlier tournaments, I know that using high level rares/super rares (no diamonds) can also take forever--I remember battling Angel once for a whole day, and battling Crusader usually takes me at least a day--it took me 36 hours once! I've noticed no difference at all between using high level rares and using babies. Sometimes I have good luck, sometimes terrible.

I haven't bothered with the tournaments for a while because I think they are ridiculously over crowding this game at the moment and then removing them too fast. But have they changes the dynamics of the fighting at all? I have now lost twice in the first 5 rounds using 2+ colour strengths which should have been easy wins, I never used to lose a battle until around round 15. Does anyone else notice this or am I just really unlucky today?

Am I the only one way unlucky during this tournament or did they change the odds?

Last time I went thru first 12 rounds with no loose. Now I lost twice (!!) against poison lvl 2 (using epic dragons with 90% chance) and also lost against water lvl 1.

So, I have 4 wins, 3 looses... against lvl 1-2 dragons. How???

A Blue/Red is best. Athletic or something similar. Blue is good against a White and Red is good against a Green.

I think you need to restart your phone to hopefully alter the unfair allocation of losses to you.

I think you need to restart your phone to hopefully alter the unfair allocation of losses to you.

Yes.. I second this. I remember you telling me to do this once and it worked! It's worth a shot when you think you are being treated unfairly! For me, Saturn came back again just now, but luckily my Dream worked again, hope it stays dead!

Nothing "wrong". Check forum, it seems that many ppl suffering beating even low lvl dragons. It seems TL lowered the winning odds

Hopefully you will find the later rounds easily. I don't usually have too many problems in the first few rounds but then it goes horribly wrong once the diamonds appear and I have never been able to get past them quick enough to win.

I'm sure one of them, since I also lost once against Winter 2 using my epic Aether.

That's why I'm wondering, I usually find the first rounds easy too. And before this tournament I've won every single one.
