Why do I keep losing money?

So I have tried to expland my shop twice now, both times I had enough money to do it. When I have clicked buy, it says I don't have enough money to do and takes 200 coins off me, so in thw space of about 5mins I have lost 400coins for nothing. This isn't the only time this had happened though.
Help? Explain? Anything?

I have managed to do the expanision now, but it was the 50,000 coins one and I 40-ish neighbours.
