Game glitch: confirmed buy of ultra rare, got another rare egg instead & took gold

I broke down and decided to purchase one of the ultra rare dark angel dragons. I was going slow to be sure I did everything correctly, and when it showed the confirmation screen for 3000 gold for dark angel, I thought about it for a couple seconds and then clicked confirm. Imagine my disappointment when I saw the deep dragon egg I already had and it took 1400 gold. I could not believe this system glitch. I am afraid to ever purchase another dragon, for fear it will give me something different. Has this ever happened to you?

Also, logged ticked Tues morn and today is Sat and ticket has not even assigned to a rep. Worst support team response rate I have ever encountered. Considering deleting game.
