Come on!!
I have recently decided that I need one and I'm halfway there.. Was this really necessary?

Well, Teamlava, you know what you do but I dont think there would be anyone who would buy this for higher price. Now ?t needs half a year to get back your gold if you buy one. Is it really necessary to raise it to 9 or 12 month? ( or whatever)

Oh, good grief! Good thing I JUST FINALLY bought one, after literally an entire year of saving up...mine is happily in its habitat :)

TL are just a bunch of guys/woman who really like money! Now they are increasing the price for Treasure Dragons! We're losing money! :(
We have to stop buying Gold and carry on with our lives! lol

Yes. Yet again MAJOR GREED is the reason for this change. It's NOT an introductory price; they've just decided to raise the price because people are earning to much gold an not buying enough. Has anyone noticed that the average dragon price has become about $99 at 2800 gold? Sad. They are quickly ruining a formerly great game.

So android users would have to pay more for it, if, and its a big if, it eventually gets released to android? Wow.

If any of the devs actually manage to work out how to code these dragons for Android, will they be offerred to droids at the "introductory" price?

Treasure dragon now 2000 gold? Omg unbelievable offer.... It worths one less zero, maximum. Good luck on finding one single customer who buys it. (Not counting the ones who fell in goldtrap)

2000 gold now?! Well that just makes it so NOT worth getting for anyone! There's no way you could break even at that price! But then, that's the point isn't it?? :(

mrarfan

If the Treasure Dragon is now 2000 Gold (which is expensive as hell) Better to remove this dragon! There's no way people will buy 2.9K Gold for $100 and buy this dragon!
Unbelievable! Ridiculous! =_=

You guys have lost your mind. I won't even say anymore than that.

Many of us claimed that Treasure was a ridiculous purchase when it first came out (AFTER the Pearl-Gold fake-breed bruhaha). We made a big deal of how long the dragon would have to eek out gold bars before one could even regain what one had spent to buy it. None of that mattered. Players not only tripped over themselves to buy Treasure; they purchased gold to add Stainglass, then Midas, to their collection, complaining about how ugly the dragons were even as they bought them.
Players WILL continue to buy this and other premium dragons no matter what outrageous price tag TeamLava slaps on. These are the conspicuous consumption dragons. Look how many players have them now! They sold far better than TeamLava initially projected. So of course the price is getting jacked way up.
Pretty soon, it won't be enough for players to say they have a Treasure. You're gonna hear them referring to theirs as the "2K Treasure" or the "3K Treasure" to set themselves apart from the riff-raff who bought it at the 800-gold bargain.

Sand: you are right. Still, treasure dragon for 800 was too expensive. At epic, it Still needed about a half year to get back ur gold. I did not bought any of them and not planned. For me it doesnt matter if is 2000 or 20000 (next year? :) ), coz 800 was more over the price I would pay for it. (Max would be 200-250).

But if TL makes me a good gold sale, maybe I change my mind. Like a 95% offer. 120 gold for 20 eurocent. Or sol

Is this a joke? I'm sorry but TL have stooped to an all time low. How can you change the price from 800 gold to thst of a regular super rare/ultra rare dragon? And then not have it earn the old amount of gold. Just dumb. There must have been an array of sales for them, that's why they did it.

Nope. 1 gold/day at lvl 1, 5 gold/day at epic form. Both the "old" 800 gold one and the "new" 2000 gold one. "Only" the price has changed. A bit....

Typical TL. Always changing the rules in the middle of the game.

They should better remove this dragon and turn back to normal when it returns. Good that my brother got the Treasure Dragon before it got overpriced and me not--great...

I would not mind spending a few bucks for Treasure Dragon, but 2000 gold no way !
Newer accounts can accumulate gold more easily by playing other TL games. But older accounts will have a harder time.

If anything, the price of gold-earning-dragons should have changed from 800gold to 500gold. Many more people would be purchasing it. :)

I couldn't agree more ... I NEVER bought gold before - I never had any beyond daily gifts, and was used to
playing without any gold...
then I saved enough for a treasure dragon, and found that as it gave me gold, I got used to having and
spending gold, till eventually, when I once fell short (for the tournament) and made my first purchase!!
If the treasure dragon had always been 2000 gold, I'd never have it in the first place, and would have
stayed in my old "non-gold" playing mode. TL, this is a case of ****ing the goose that lays the "golden eggs".
