Would like to start breeding my gemstone dragons but i don't know the breeding times for them. Would someone be so kind and post them here for me please!

Gemstone- 12 hrs
Jade- 8hrs
Tiger's Eye- 14 hrs
Topaz- 24 hrs
Amethyst- 16 hrs
Emerald- 8 hrs.
Sapphire- 20 hrs.
Onyx-21 hrs
Pearl- 18 hrs.
Quartz- 22 hrs.
Ruby- 12 hrs.

have you gotten any yet? I don't seem to be having much luck and it took a really long time to get my gemstone..

would anyone be so kind as to share their successful gemstone hybrid combos/levels, pretty please?

I'm on android and have bred all gemstones except for Onyx, Sapphire and Emerald. I've bred 2x Jade with Hunter x gem, Tiger's Eye with Jade x Fairy, Amethyst was also Hunter x gem, Ruby/Pearl/Quartz were all Virtue x gem. Topaz was Mist x gem... I -think-, I don't remember that one for sure.

Gemstone should have its own breeding pool.
They're an absolute pain to breed for because they're mixed in with every other dragon.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I accidentally bred a gemstone dragon and was totally unprepared. I do not have enough coins to buy him a habitat. I need about 1,400,000 more coins. Should I just sell him off and try to breed one again after I have enough or just keep the egg in the nest and continue saving up coins? I don't want to sell him if its going to take forever to breed him again :( Thanks in advance for advice!

I'm in lv 21, got Gem an have 1.9mil to go. But I don't sell it bcoz a lot of nbrs advise me. they took a lot of time to get when they're in level higher... and some tried many times but got nothing.

I sold my 1st fairytale dragon for that reason ... lack of funds, but on accumulating what i needed ii quickly bred it after, i don't know. Its purely up to you. I now have 2 nests so that makes it fairly easier. But i no longer have to scrunt for money, because ii have 12mil and counting! But good luck to you!

I was in the same boat but started going to random islands and telling them that I had a homeless gemstone & needed help. People visited in record numbers! Now I have my gemstone in a home. :) people will help, just ask :)

I would say sell it. When I only had about 150,000 coins I got 3 in a row.

Which goal is the one for amethyst called? I don't have any timers on any of my goals, but I may not even have the goal.

You won't have the goal unless you have hatched Emerald, sapphire, Ruby, and topaz... But yeah, amethyst is now limited

Most importantly, how would droid users know that amethyst is going to be removed if they don't have the goal and aren't on the forums?

That is why I asked since I am Android and don't have the mission. I guessed that gemstone dragons would be around for a long time.

wow, that's so mean to android players. I haven't gotten a single hybrid yet and already theyre being removed? i never thought I would say this but im about ready to give up the game altogether

what r the best ways to breed each hybrid anyway? maybe peacock would get amethyst better than magic.. since theres some angle I don't fully understand involving hidden or true colors..

When gemstone was first available to us (android) I got without trying, was going for mermaid at the time... could not afford the home for it and was stil trying for mermaid (which I never got) but I have been trying the past few days and now all I can get are islands.... and now they are getting rid of these guys... just not right...

Maybe in v1.7..When you already have the dragon,there are NO pop-ups :/
Yes! Amethyst is EXPIRED and now is Knight and followed by Gladiator! ;)

I got a Ruby first try, GemstonexFire
- level 4 Gemstone
- level 10 Fire

Love my Ruby, evolved it to level 10, and I just need 1 more spell scroll before I can craft a second (don't need the large red gems anyways ;))

- Ruby, yes (I successfully bred one my first try)
- Emerald, yes
- Sapphire, yes
- Topaz, yes
- Amethyst, no. I don't know why, but this one isn't available to breed, only by crafting

This might be a dumb question, but what do you breed to get the first gemstone? I am guessing you need it, to get the rest of them.

For gemstone dragon u need to breed water/green element to get gemstone 12 hrs breeding time and even u can craft it also u need large blue gem and large green gem to craft it ;)
