Hi everyone,

With the iOS 7 release today, we wanted to reassure everyone that all of our games currently in the App Store will be compatible with iOS 7. To ensure a smooth transition when upgrading to iOS 7, we recommend that everyone create a Storm8 ID for their accounts. This will ensure you can recover your account if needed.

We also recommend downloading the most recent versions of all our Apps. You can find them all below:

Please note: Upgrading to iOS 7 normally should cause no issues, however, if you choose to reset your device when upgrading, you will lose access to your account. Be sure you have created a Storm8 ID so we can recover it for you!

Update: iOS 7 handles text a bit differently than iOS 6 and lower, so you may experience text issues in some of the games. We're aware of this text issue and will try to get it fixed as soon as possible.

This probably has something to do with Apple's servers. There's a ton of people trying to download it. Just be patient. :)

I downloaded it without any problems. The only issue I had was that I didn't have a 50% charge on my ipad so it stopped. Once I plugged it in everything started working fine again.

I've checked every game and am getting no error messages, lags or lost my info.

Now I just need my 5 year old to teach me how to use it! It's amazing how kids are pros at electronics, the update looks sweird. (11 year old talk, Meaning sweet and weird).

Ok here is a change. How to force quit (close out) an application.

All you have to do is double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view, then swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit. The app will fly off the screen.

It is kinda fun!!

I am not sure what specific devices get the new update, but to check go under the setting on your device- Look under general-software update. If you device is suppose to get the update you will see it.
It has been released in the US, I am not sure of other areas.

All my TL games are working fine so far. I have not found any issues with the games .

I have a few other applications on my iphone and so far no issues.
You will need to check with the developers of any non-Team Lava applications to see if their apps are IOS compatible.
You can change your background and lock screen.

I think i'll wait until the end pf the tournament to update. I am so afraid of losing my progress. Anyway i don't want to wait hours while the ipad updates. I'll lose tournament hours and hours for breeding for naga.

And don't get me wrong people, but on tumblr and everywhere else everyone was complaining about problems with updates....well DUH!! Millions of people around the world were trying to download it, so obviously apple servers could not possibly keep the uploads steady for so many many terabytes. :)

Hi, normally apple will offer you to install a older version that you have downloaded in the past threw iCloud, if this doesn't happen, connect your phone to your PC and install game via iTunes.

You only need one Storm8 ID to access the forums. Most people have more than one account. So this is just reminding people to make sure all their accounts have a Storm8 ID.

Looks like 3 years of iMobsters and World War play have come to an iOS 7 end. Storm8 doesn't have the GOOD versions of either game in the app storm. I refuse to play these games without the sliders, for quick and easy equipment and building purchasing.

Try deleting your game and redownload it. If you are still at level one, set up a new storm ID then send an email to support@teamlava.com
Tell them what happened and give them the temp storm ID you set up and your original storm ID so they can get your games back.

Make sure you are trying to download the regular bakery game(not an older seasonal version of the game)
You can try restarting your device.

The most current version to be playing is on the regular RS game. Version 1.6.8.
It will have everything in it that your valentine version had.
(valentine version is an outdated version )

You press the home button, the apps that are open will decrease in size but remain on the screen (unlike before when they would be at the bottom of the screen with the 'x' on the top corner) tap the app you want to force close and swipe it upwards ^ off the screen, it will be force closed. Hope that makes sense to you.

So I understand that, I follow the prompt to the App Store to update to latest version but it's telling me in the App Store that the latest version is not available in the USA...!? Obviously that's not right, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or my device (iPad 2) is still trying to figure out this new iOS. Anyway can someone confirm the latest version of Bakery Story so I know I'm not going mad. Thanks in advance for any help.

I had the same problem with Bakery Halloween this morning. Go to the App Store and search manually for Bakery Story and install the regular app. When you open it all your old Halloween stuff will be available, just the character and background graphics change

I think you can restore your account by downloading storm8 games and put your ID and password and it will transfer your game .

So many people with this problem! I also contacted TL on Thursday and they finally sent me a stock answer last night advising me to update on iTunes. that doesn't help me at all! I downloaded the latest FS update but it started me back at level 1, and it won't give me an option to enter my storm Id. I was at level 97, and just spent so much on gems.. This is frustrating. I immediately emailed them back to see if they could transfer my levels and no answer. Do I have to wait another week for them to answer again? This is ridiculous.

Ugh...it looks like I'm not alone. After updating to iOS7, I lost all my Storm8 game data (Vamps, iMob, Zombies, WW.) I tried to transfer the acct back in but the system doesn't recognize the password. In the meantime, I found out it didn't recognize my DROID's password either. That's fixed because I was able to go in and change/update the password in the game. Unfortunately, I can't do that on the iPad until they transfer my games back to it. I've had a ticket since Wednesday and finally got a answer/request for more info last night. This is getting old. I went through a similar problem when my old iPad was stolen and had to transfer the acct to this iPad.

You will need to contact support@teamlava.com so they can get your games back.

Give them your current storm ID and let them know what happened.

The versions of Imobster and World War with the item/property purchase sliders do not work. Any plans to fix this or are we stuck with the newer [not as good i.m.o] versions?

You will need to contact support@teamlava.com so they can get your games back.

Give them your current storm ID and let them know what happened.

Also go ahead and set up a new storm ID on your game and give them this temp ID so they will be able to transfer you original games back to your device.

Also, when I was concerned about updating and losing my games, TinksThots suggested I delete the games before upgrading to iOS 7 and reinstalling them after. It worked very well. To anyone else cautious about upgrading, I would highly recommend you uninstall the games before you do.

I just upgraded my ipad to ios7 and immediately ALL my storm8 games removed all my game data, and put me back to level 1 with a 0 score!

I have

2. Bubble blitz
3. bubble seasons
4. Jewel mania
5. Fruit mania

And in ALL these games, I am now a beginner at level 1 , with no clue where the gems, gold, money - whatever achievements went! I have been playing these games since August 2012 now.. so you can imagine how advanced a player I was!

I tried removing the games and reinstalling but it hasn't made any difference whatsoever.

Please tell me what to do! PLEASE fix this and revert all my stored data!

[I]If you have problems transferring yourself you can contact support@teamlava.com so they can get your games back.
Give them your current storm ID and let them know what happened.
Also go ahead and set up a new storm ID on your game and give them this temp ID so they will be able to transfer you original games back to your device.

I have just uploaded my iPad2 to iOS7. I had made a backup but when I open the City Story again I sadly found that I lost my account and all started from zero. Since I have played this game for about two years and made lots of friends inside, I really do not want to lose it.

I have set my storm8 ID and password before. Could you please recover it for me? Thanks a lot!!! You are my last hope.

BTW I have already sent an e-mail to you with my former ID and temp ID. The self-transport didn't work. Hope you may check it...:(

If your storm ID is the same as your forum name you can use your forum password and storm ID to get your games back.

I updated Castle Story game by clicking Update button on App Store on my iphone IOS 7 and the game has reset. I tried getting my old game from itunes but it doesn't help. Just sent an email to support and got a ticket number. Hope to hear from the team soon.
