Click "Abandon" and start over. If you breed a pet and too much time passes after the time it is ready, you basically lose it and have to restart the breed. I recommend writing a note to remind you what time the pet is ready so that you can get to it somewhat on time, there are reminder features in most mobile devices. Unfortunatelly, Pet Shop Story itself doesn't have that option, if you turn what seems like that toption, you end up getting annoying reminders every 3 minutes telling you your pet is ready, they never really fixed that issue. There is another option, if you want to pay real money, or Gems, as they're called here, and revive your pet from "sickness" instantly, but yeah it costs gems and this game doesn't generate gems on a regular basis to really bother with this option.
