Baby barrier protects the babies from becoming sludged, but there isn't a power-up to prevent sludge from advancing. Happy playing!

You don't really need the baby barrier.

When the level is opening, just pay attention to the color of the row of bubbles right above the babies. Then when you clear a path to the star bubble, save the star bubble for that specific color. It will pop that row and protect the babies until you can get to them and zap the lightning bubble.
