Only one page in the newspaper today

I opened the newspaper today and the arrow to turn pages is greyed out. It would be great if they sorted the paper so that there were several pages of different items that from people in the community rather than neighbours.

When that happens to me, I force close the game and the arrow becomes bright again.

I believe the newspaper stand has items that are for sale by community members. When you open the shop, your nbrs are listed in line below your slots. To access your nbrs items just tap the icon (their farm name is listed below the icon). You can scroll through them in order with the most items for sale down to the least items for sale. I usually search through my nbrs shops before going to the news stand.
