Can a Pet Shop have multiples of the same pet?

I know you can have 4 to a family, but can I have more families of the same pet? Say I want to have a pet shop just of hamsters, can I? Thx :-)

What about if you put one a pet in storage? Perhaps then you can buy another one?

no it won't buy. but will show in the market (useful in case you forgot how much it collects)
