Is rainbow road seriously 500,000???

I have a rainbow dragon about to hatch and am still no where near able to buy the habitat. If I can't get the dragon out of the nest the whole game is at a standstill till I can accumulate the money to move it. Also without spending any of the money on anything else it's taking days to get it... Can I be bothered?
Things are way too expensive to enjoy this game.

I keep getting more disappointed.

The Tropic Strand and the Throne Room cost the same. However, I have one for my Rainbow Dragon.

OMG I just saw the gemstone prairie worth 2 million, how the heck do you get that coin without having to buy it using real money. I think I'm about to quit this game. Such a shame cos it's a great concept.

How long did it take you to save the 500,000 for the habitat?
