What are the star numbers for at top of game...right side of the level we're on?

Can these numbers be used for anything? Are they the "extra points"? Again...what do they mean?

If you are referring the numbers directly to the right of your level number, it is the bar that counts your experience (from baking, visiting your neighbors, collecting tips). The meter bar will fill as experience is gained until you have the required amount of "points" to move on to the next level.

The number is only there to tell you how much experience you've accumulated so you can be proud of yourself :)
