I beat Lightning with a level 7 Dawntree using MMM, if you have that one. Or try another green? Someone mentioned beating it with Leopard.

Do you have a Phoenix? That's what worked for me! Mine was level 7 and took down Infinity in two Magic hits.

Others have mentioned beating it with Dawntree, Pegasus, Eagle, Firestorm, and Scarecrow.

I found that if I knew a champion was the best opponent I would use it a second time instead of choosing someone else and it almost always worked. Lightning was a monster.

It seem like you can actually win any dragon with any dragon, with many of the dragons from 15 rounds above, I think the tournament is set to have you lose so many dragons before win some. may example with stainglass and a few other seems like this is the case, I breed 10 fire to level 10 just to increase the island coin, and used these dragons to fight, lost 6 fire to stainglass and won with the 7th, all with just Bash.

Correct me if im wrong.

You may be on to something, but who knows what they are really thinking. I also think that if too many people win with a certain dragon, they stop it from winning. what do you think of that?

I'm sorry :( I wish you luck. Ethereal was the first tournament I ever won; it's tough without diamonds. Even though I'm on level 28 with over 2 days to go, I know from experience that I still may not win; it has taken me 36 hours to beat Crusader before, so who knows. I've lost 3 times to Helios, but I won't start panicking yet.

Keep trying, you never know when your luck will change. Infinity had me pretty bummed too.

Well, Naga took down my two Fairytales, my Pearl, Big Bad, and Four-Leaf, but epic Lotus did finish it off at last with MM+M! That one was stressing me out.

I'm worried about those last few. Not too many dragons left, as they're dropping faster than I can heal them. But again thanks to the folks in this thread, I have a few ideas at least, and a couple of days left to try them, so... fingers crossed! (I'm still irked I missed out on Ethereal, and I don't plan to miss out on this one, even if it is silly-looking. ^_~)

That is what I do too if I have too many that need t be healed. I throw in my fails, sometimes it works but not a lot of the times, so it can take a while.

I used scorpion bb lvl 6. that was my 4th try. Last tournament I used scarecrow bb here's another combos that have won, elf bm, That one was easy compared to Lightning. I tried all kinds of dragons and all I do it lose. give it a few more tries and move on. I have to be done by tomorrow. good luck

Just lost Landworm against Lightning 20. My own Lightning is in the healing spa right now. I still have Night and Bat, they're my only blacks left. Will give them a shot next and then start going through the gemstone dragons. This is ridiculous. All rules seem to go out the window past Round 20 in this tournament. They definitely changed up the game. It's like I'm not even playing the same tournament as the last 3 :/

I beat it with Independence. Tiny, Virtue, Chocolate, Angel, Quetzal, and Landworm have also won that I know of.

Diamond, white, pink, Fairytale, and Dino dragons are supposed to have the best chances against it.

Don't do that, you still have plenty of time to win. Throw in some level 1 Forest or Fire dragons until you heal a few more dragons.. Use Ultimate on the last day if you need to, but you'll probably have won by then.

Plus if we ever get the parts from the quest portal comet will have to be housed . At present all my haditats are full & dragons imprisoned in stables . My game is coming to a grinding halt. Thanks elwood99,yes I do understand but still we got 2 days left, so last day I'll starts using the ultimate attacks on each round if not successful..at the moment I focus on DA..

Green or white against a Black. But funny Atlantis worked against Night Elf.

If you don't have diamonds, just breed baby Fire dragons and use them. When they lose, sell them and breed another; that way you don't lose a good dragon and you don't have to heal anything. They work as well as anything else because all non-diamonds have only about a 10% chance. I defeated Infinity with baby Fire, Dark Angel with baby Forest, and Helios with baby Fire. I'm going after Crusader with baby Fires now.

This is really starting to anger me, how many times am I going to have to beat a dragon in a row. I'm never going to get this dragon because I have had to fight and beat Mythic, amethyst and another one at least twice before it lets me move on. I mean really, if they haven't fixed the glitches for the entire tournament, they shouldn't have started another one.

These tournaments are all the same for me I can get through 25 rounds or so without losing but a couple dragons and then it seems no matter if I follow the guides other people posted the last five opponents will defeat almost all of my army. Why during the last five rounds or so are all rules thrown out the window and its just dumb luck after that?
