I used magic on topaz with my diamond and it barely touched him. With my luck on the last 2 fights I thought I was doomed. Bash crushed him.... My heart started beating again lol

I too defeated lotus with ceasar and the next battle was lotus again and I lost with ceasar? Very frustrating! These tournaments are hard enough without having your opponents getting second chances.

Thanks sweety, but my luck isnt good right now, just lost epic crusader to big bad, I waiting for my 6 try against it will use yy than, I hate to battle the same dragon over and over I dont WHY seems so easy for some, but sometimes for me it isnt, I have around 30 dragons to heal from the other tournament, If I got a lot of gold I would spend 30 on the ultimate but I think I would miss All the fun, right? I have at least 90 dragons to try to send big bad home :) Do you if baby big bad ever won the big one,?

If you have Elf, use it! I have used Elf on Gold-type dragons 9 or 10 times and have only lost once, even though my Elf was only level 7-8 most of those times. When I get to level 19, I'm using Elf first, even though he's only level 9. I don't think it matters, but I always bash. Seems to work!

Oh dear. That actually doesn't make much sense as all of those have super good chances. I've noticed that in these tournaments, you always have this one opponent who destroys all your dragons - Naga did it last time for me. If you have no other good options, I'll seriously suggest you throw some common dragons against it. It may just work, and even if not, you don't lose much. But once you pass this guy, everything else will be cakewalk, I promise.

No, but the difficulty has been upped significantly for this tournament. This time we're facing a level 16+ diamond already in round 23, whereas it never was till round 26 before. And in the +5 gold rounds, the levels of the dragons have been raised very high. And if that's not enough, we'll be facing FOUR level 20 dragons, instead of 2, with the first being in round 24.

I think they're determined to make this so you can't win without diamond dragons or using gold. Without some INSANE luck, I don't see any way I can win (since I have no diamonds). My goal is to get through level 25 so I get all the gold.

If Bat doesn't work, try: Cosmic or Leo, then Aether, Atlantis, Boo, Cupid, Dawntree, Honeybee...

I know what you mean about the black hybrids being hard. I tried for a month to get ANY black hybrid and just got Bat, then last week I got Troll for only my second black hybrid ever, months and months after the first. There's something wrong with breeding black dragons, for sure.

according to the guide at the beginning of the thread with gemstones it's best to use Diamond, Dino, Black, Cosmic or Zodiac and avoid Red, Blue, Gold, Green or Pink. the guide has proved very useful to me. my loses are way less than the last three tournaments so far.

Other Blue/Yellow = Mist (common) = Storm (rare)

Levi is Red/Blue.
Red - use Yellow Blue Stone ( avoid Green Zodiac, Dino)
Blue - use Yellow Purple Gemstone. ( avoid Red, white, stone)
So Blue/Purple= Aether, Wizard
Yellow/Purple= Trickster n Genie

Oh dear.. There's a lot of time left so don't give up! Like I said, there's always one dragon who tests us.. But once you pass, you'll sail through. Have you tried throwing a few baby forests at it? It just might work, and if nothing works, go for the ultimate. I had to use it twice in my last tournament, but couldn't have got ethereal without it.
