Why so expensive?

I'm trying to get into Dragon Story cause I like mythical creatures (maybe there could be a unicorn type of dragon one day, if there isn't already). But I noticed that I'm not really making all that much. Is that how the game starts out? The dragons, the habitats, the decor. Even expanding costs a lot, and then on top of that...you have to pay to clear the trees. If I'm spending $6,000 to expand, then why do I have to spend another $50,000 to clear a tree and then another $10,000 and so on? :confused:

Basically, max your habitats and max your dragon quota on each, preferably with higher earning dragons. Collect often, plant cheap crops. Once you level up to a certain point, you'll have too much coins and no where to spend it.

i've been playing DS for like a year and to be honest , i'm nowhere near to the point that you mentioned despite having like 6 diamond habitats and i collect pretty often. I doubt i'll ever get to that point with so many hungry dragons and the food cost change depends on TL's mood.
