Should I sell my Gemstone egg?

I was hoping to get some advice. I am a level 15 and have a Gemstone dragon ready to hatch but no habitat to put her in.....I am a long way off from the coins needed to buy a habitat or another nest. Should I sell the egg or is it really difficult to breed this particular dragon and I should hold onto it? Any advice would be appreciated!

I had this problem early on as well but it was the mythic dragon, i chose to sell the egg, was able to get another when i was ready fairly easy, hope it helps.

yeah, just sell it. gemstones are hard to breed, just focus on other dragons and sell the egg. if you decide to breed one again later, it's only rare so it shouldn't take to long to get it back.

Yeah, since you're just starting out I would sell it. It'll take too long to save for the habitat, and it's a permanent dragon for now.

How did you get one? I've been trying for a gemstone egg for a while with no success, same with summer dragon.
