Ok just put in abominable and abominable to breed 8 hour breed time 224 gold to put in nest .. Not sure use to cost me 16 to speed it up and put it in the nest..

I have two ice age habitats with cave, fossil, ice and meteor

I have two blizzard habitats with blizzard, snowflake, alpine and polar

I have one yeti habitat with yeti, Sasquatch, and abominable (trying for sabre tooth)

And one habitat for Glacius

That's 6 habitats and that's all I'm allowed, where am I supposed to put the sabre tooth (when I eventually get him)???

Man, every time I breed Abominable and Sasquatch I get Abominable - every time! I think I'm gonna but another hab and keep an abominable to them breed them together, I might have better luck!

I have lost count how many times I have put abominable/sasquatch, abominable/abominable or sasquatch/sasquatch together. I just keep getting abominables and sasquatches galore. Getting a tad fed up with it now, especially as it's 12 hours a pop for me :(

I agree I have the same problem I keep trying the abominable/Sasquatch combo for three days straight and just keep,getting abominable. I have the same problem when tring for cave .

If I was you when going for cave if you have them, use Fossil/Meteor ,that is the combo I see everyone saying they used and that is indeed what I used to get it, and best advice for Yeti is abominable/abominable, I did get a decent amount of fails but that is what landed me my Yeti! Hope this helps everyone

Great idea! I bet it would be sooo pretty:eek: I want more these arctic dragons are tough! No polar for me :( But I now have 3 snowflake and got alpine no prob on my fourth try. But sabertooth and polar, phsessh forget about it lol!

This is by far my new favorite dragon (sorry Mercury) of both islands. She looks amazing. From the design, to the crown and coloring. Top to bottom it's a perfect design. I hope it comes more easily than polar and snowflake. Pinks! Just when I grow bored these people find a way to suck me back in.

This dragon is ultra rare, very hard to breed, produce a big amount of fur and yet the habitat that holds it max 80. TL should release diamond habitat on artic isles and i think it will based on diamond symbol on the dragon picture.

Ok I tried about 4/5 times with diamond and either yeti or abominable, my breeding times are 8 hrs but 16 gold to speed, this particular combo only took ONE try! I'll try to post picture of egg, but I'm trying to craft flames, my crucible only holds 200 but I need 300 to heat and my dragons are not wanting to give up their items needed to craft the darn flames!! I'm cracking the whip!

That's weird, my abominable only takes 32 to heat, I've never had a 300 flames to heat egg, that's why I got so excited

am I the only one who's noticed something strange yet pathetic about the new currency and habitats? - Since we're on topic of Abominable dragons, lets stay there.

This new " Icecrown " dragon.... at max level it will put out a massive 4,160 parts per hour.. yet its going to be in a habitat shared with other Abominable type dragons which can only hold a maximum of 80 parts... hmmmm lets see.. 4160/60 is 69.3, so lets round that down to 69... so after 1 minute it will create 69 parts in a habitat that holds 80 parts?... Do you really PLAN to collect from that habitat every 70 seconds?

TL needs to either increase the habitats part cap or redo their system for how much each dragon makes.

This isnt just a problem in the Arctic isles.. this is also an issue in the main part of the game too.. dragons putting out 4,000 coins an hour in a habitat that can only hold 3000 coins, if you're lucky enough to get a diamond habitat then its worthwhile.. but putting the diamond dragons in a colored habitat makes their massive coin making s****s moot.

When they were breeding it was 8 hrs and 16 gold to speed

When it was in the nest it was 300 flames to speed up and (I think) about 500 or 600 gold to speed, I didn't want to look too close, my brain shut down at the thought of so much gold wasted, I just cracked the whip and got items to make flames!

Lol! Yeah, thank goodness dawntree is limited! Another 26 hr one, but all I get are fuzzys :( at least it's only 8 hrs, but it would be nice if prism would visit!

Also my crucible only holds 25 flames but I can upgrade it to hold 100 flames for 100 gold. Now I have abt 600 gold and would be willing to upgrade if its still possible to get the dragon easily as you guys say:D Im tempted to speed the den for the 16 gold lol

Angel also works i've got mine back to back using abominable/angel. If the breeding pattern like this anubis can also works too because purple didn't split.

Yes, it seems the ability to breed icecrown easily has been replaced with the ability to warm eggs for 25 flames

So glad i sped my den up! I used crusader/abominable and just got them out of the den. 300 flames to hatch;) And 25 flames per warming. I didnt even have to use gold to upgrade my crucible! Are you guys sure that this breeding method was fixed? Im tempted to try again but im near the end of the tournament and may need some diamonds

so im sure this is related to the fact that the icecrown dragon isn't in the market anymore but i thought i'd mention it - i just tried to put it in the breeding den with another dragon and it was there for half a second and then they both disappeared back to their habitats. :(

i hope those of us that already have an icecrown dont lose it completely if/when this is sorted out

If this dragon gave coins and had a hab that had a max capacity of 80 coins it would still be better than it is now. I dont know why anyone getting 80 hay from it would find it at all useful. Seems like the least useful dragon created to date by a wide margin

I know most everyone has moved on to Icecrown here, but I just wanted to note, for the info on the first page, that you do not have to breed Abominable and Sasquatch to get Yeti. I got one just now from Abominable and Ice Age.

I will try this next... I've been nonstop breeding abominable/Sasquatch, abominable/mammoth, Sasquatch/mammoth for the past 2 weeks. Was going to throw icecrown in there next but I wasn't sure if we could breed with it and heard others had some trouble. If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know!

Agreed. I think TL should release more dragons based off the fire dragon design (like Bigbad, one of favourites) or design a new base design, that is more draconic in appearance.

Tried to breed abominable over a week ago, and ice age and fuzzy have been stuck in limbo since. I can still breed just not those two as they show as breeding in the breeding list. Doesn't look like anyone else has this problem. I have just emailed TL support. Annoying as I didn't get abominable from 1st attempt and can't try for another as I only have one fuzzy!

Woohoo! Was super surprised this morning I had sasquatch and abominable in the den, 8 hr 16 gold, and put it in the nest and it had 84 flames to hatch. Turned out to be a Sabertooth! Was so happy not to see 32 flames again lol, I thought it might be yeti, but wasnt sure. Now I need yeti and ****er whale. Polar and cave for the others :)

Um, when icecrown first came out, I discovered that if I used gold/yeti, there was only one outcome - icecrown!
I managed to breed three (two on habitat and one stuck as egg) before TL took that away and made it MUCH harder to breed for icecrown :( now I have one in habitat, sharing with ****er whale and sabre tooth, and one still as egg

I'm sorry you are having so much trouble, I'll cross fingers and toes for you :)

Thanks so much! I may have to try that. I'm tired of breeding Sasquatch and Abominable and getting only either Abominable or Sasquatch as a result. :( May try Abominable and Diamond, too, to see if I can get anything besides Abominable.

Pretty sure it was Sabertooth/Sasquatch but that was after sooo many tries in attempts for Yeti and getting sasquatch/sabertooth/Abominable fails.
