Oh man I just went [] and seen pics of this one. It is sooo cute! Exactly the type of dragon I wanted to see from the arctic isles, not like cave. Just not a fan of that one lol. It is really more bear-ish than dragon but that is totally forgiven. So far the blizzards are my favorites now im missing 4/11 :)

I got mine with blizzard/blizzard but it can also be obtained with blizzard/ice age

In my opinion the best way to obtain any of the arctic dragons is to use two of the same type when breeding, for example I got both yeti and Sasquatch using abominable and abominable, hope this helps gl!

Seems like I got an alpine: blizzard and snowflake , 160 flames to hatch (yikes!) and lotsa gold to speed up. Like 300 or whatever, lol.

I am so stuck on alping. Keep getting blizzards. I guess I need to try a different combo. Tried Snowflake diamond and snowflake blizzard. Maybe I will try blizzard blizzard since they seem to like being in the den.

Ok, I just put alpine and blizzard in together and got 300 gold to speed up!

Normally it's 8 hrs in den with 16 gold to speed (double, in other words) now, it's still 8 hrs in den, but 300 gold o.o

You can get a Blizzard from Abominable and an Ice type dragon. I think I used Ice Age but it might have been Fossil. I was just going for Sasquatch; I didn't even know I could get Blizzard from that, as I didn't even have a goal for Blizzard yet.

I have been trying Blizzard types since Polar was released and all I get is Blizzard.. I got 2nd Alpine once, but the rest have all been Blizzard. I refuse to speed breed because the gold cost is double, and tbh I don't really care too much for the ice dragons as things are right now.

i got it from polar bear/blizzard :) the flames needed were 220 i think, definitely more than 200 :/ i also just got ice crown while trying for ****erwhale :)

Yes but I doubt there is a way to get them like that because then it would be too easy. I just hope staff would confirm it for us, not tell us which dragons get what.. Trying to figure them out might even be an interesting challenge.

What are the chances staff answering this question? Pony needs to give us a hint! :p

Definitely not speed breeding, for me anyway, all I need are the last 4 but I have got the other super rares at least twice now.

(My arctic warming costs for blizzard type dragons are the following: 120 flames - blizzard, 234 - snowflake, 260 - alpine, 260 - polar). I have three nests and would rather avoid opening the ones with the 260 warming costs if they will only turn out to be another polar or alpine :-/. I don't know if it is worth using that many flames to warm the 260s unless Penguin is also 260 for this price range.

I think the breeding on the ice den is messed up, and the cost is ridiculous to speed up... This thing is still new, so no way am I going to speed up especially since TL are still working on it. It would be like throwing my gold away.

Polar is above 200, but that's strange your Blizzard Is 70 flames then 120 flames.. Mine are always 90 flames

I got most of them from breeding ice dragons with diamond.

We've made several changes to Egg Warming amounts, among other things, in the Arctic Isles. If you had an Egg currently in your Frozen Nest (including those that were ready), the amount of Mystic Flames or Warming Sessions required may have changed

when you say 'most of them' do you mean non blizzard type dragons? like you breed ice age with diamond and got polar, for example? or yeti? i thought you only got ice age dragons if you breed and ice age dragon with diamond... but if you can get any arctic isle dragon regardless of its 'type' just by breeding ice age and diamond than maybe ill try that from now on.

No! What I mean is, I call all the dragons from the ice island are ice dragons. You have to breed diamond with their own element to get what you want. You can't get Polar or Yeti from breeding ice age with diamond.

My blizzard used to be 70 flames and now it's 120. I've pretty much lost interest in the arctic isles now. 120 flames is pretty annoying when you only have a 25 flame silo, and you get so many of them from trying to breed blizzard/blizzard.

You need to use 2 dragons from the blizzard habitat, or blizzard and diamond.... It takes lots of tries! I don't have it and been using blizzard and blizzard for weeks..

Maybe someday I will see an alpine dragon so I can move on to the new dragons. All I see are blizzards or ice age (depending on whats breeding). Game needs to change. I haven't gotten a new dragon lately up here and it is annoying coming here in the first place, so with nothing new popping out of the den, I find it hard even to travel here.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS. I mean all the arctic dragons do is drain ur coins they do nothing to benefit ur game and as u can only hold a small amount of parts to craft flames unless u spend 100 gold to upgrade it makes no difference to have super or ultra rares. This whole concept is such a "miss"!!!

I can't get a snowflake either. blizzard/blizzard gives me more blizzards but now 120 flames instead of 90 (stupid change). My breeding times are still 12hrs though. No direction, this game is all over the place, It's like playing twister with blind people.

Yes, I think the Arctic is pretty boring. I have stopped playing it since I haven't been able to get anywhere for at least a week. The worst thing is, I keep getting the same dragon, either ice age or abominable or blizzard a tone of times... then create a lot of mystic flame just to get rid of them. You constantly need to work on it, way too many effort for one game.

They are the same, 375 flames like snow Angel lol I meant not bad for the fails

You're right! Meteor/ice age/bedrock etc a lot less flames than alpine/penguin/polar :)
I'm already sick of ice age, even at 4 flames to hatch! Knowing my luck, it'll take even longer for icicle to visit!

Finally got one too, I thought I was getting the snowflakes cos the flames was 260( I could be wrong, I'm not sure though). But, after I heat the egg, I never see egg like this so I looked on chart and it's polar, yay...

Combo was alpine and SnowAngel.

I am sooo sick of Blizzard Dragons. I have been breeding Diamond or diamond hybrid + blizzard type dragon 2 or 3 times each day since Snowangel came out. I have not got a single result other than Blizzard. o_o

I know all the other blizzard type dragons are Super Rare but come on this is getting ridiculous. . :( :p

Can the flame cost to hatch Blizzard dragons be reduced please? Considering how that's ALL I seem to be able to breed, it's an absolute PAIN to have to fork over 120 flames each time.

Thanks, hun! I'd love to trade you! I gave up on ****er whale a long time ago and now that I have 2 ice crowns I'm probably just going to leave them be and forget about ****er whale. And if I get either polar or penguin I'll probably just keep the 2 snow angels too. I just hope it's polar.. They are so darn cute!! Wish I could come visit your babies!

Okay, so I've been trying to breed the IceCrown Dragon for months but I'm not having any luck. I've been usin the same combo (Abominable & Diamond) constantly for well over a week now because every other combo I've tried just wasn't working for me either. The same thing happened when I was trying for the Icicle Dragon. It literally took me months and well over 500+ tries just to get Icicle and It's probably gonna take me months just to get IceCrown. And to think, I still need the SnowAngel Dragon, which I most likely won't get until June or July, and then I'll be done with the Arctic dragons. Well, at least until TL decides to release more unobtainable Arctic dragonI am soo frustrated with this game right now, it's REDICULOUS !!!!

Any two blizzard-type dragons. If you don't have two, put blizzard with an ice age type. You will get ice age-type dragons as fails then, but at least the common ice age dragons take very few mystic flames to warm up.

I didn't keep track of how many attempts it took me.

I have been trying for months (I'm not exaggerating) for the SnowAngel Dragon and still nothing. I've used Blizzard/Diamond, SnowFlake/Diamond, Alpine/Diamond, Polar/Diamond and Penguin/Diamond. Basically, I've tried every possible pairing I can use in order to obtain SnowAngel but all I keep getting are a bus load of Blizzards. This is the only dragon I need so I can wake up that big dragon. I swear I'm getting furious with this game.

I got both the Polar and Penguin by breeding Blizzard & Alpine - I got a ton of fails - just be patient and you'll get them.

Thanks, I keep going, and I switch sometimes my strategy, try to get two diamonds ice dragons. I have one ice diamond and I am very happy about that.
