you can scroll to the end of your floor decorations and see the displays that are locked by goal: boardwalk sign, surrey, and carousel. (along with other update items that are locked by goal: boardwalk counter, umbrella tables, frozen banana stand, and frosty freezer.)

I'm not sure sesame cake but I'm in the same boat as you. I've been saving forever for my expansion,finally have just enough and BAM more goals (not that I'm complaining,cause I love the goals in this game) Anyway my plan is to do the goals,store the prizes then when they're finished do my expansion so I've got some room for them...I've got a mariachi band waiting in the wings for a bit of space and a chance to sing too lol. Sorry I don't know exact $$$ but for me I just know I would regret it if I didn't do the goals and had to look at all the new,cute items locked forever :)

Never seen a goal where there was PREPARE and SERVE as separate items which had different values for each. My gut says we need to prepare AND serve 20 of each.

Checking into the frozen lemonade serving in the "Sweet & Sour" goal. Usually the prepare and serve quantities are the same in goals. To be safe, assume the goal is to serve 20 for now, since we have to prepare 20.

If you did not receive your own request on the other two accounts that you have, you have most likely sent out more than 20 of your allotted requests, seeing as you "pretty much asked everyone on my neighbor list." If this is the case, wait for a couple of days. The requests are backed up and may show up when the game resets itself in 11 hours. Check your other devices at this time to fulfill the request.

The boardwalk goals last 27 days as stated in the first page so you have like 21 days left to complete.

Agreed at least on RS many new appliances use old or basic parts I don't get why BS always does new parts. And on top of waiting on part gifts and requests the goal challenges are usually for 15 to 30 of whatever food item. Granted BS designs are better than RS but they're also more expensive and goals take longer to finish.

don't freak! think of it this way: although i don't know how far you've gotten yet, i've basically just started the lemonade goal. i think i'm on my third serving. but, 6 x 20 / 2 (hours for each serving times servings divided by the 2 freezers you have to have) is 60, and the same formula for the other frosty freezer treats gives you 125 and 210, so that's 395 hours altogether. divided by 24 is 16 1/2 days, which is plenty of time considering we have 19 days left. i'm not even going to bother to build another freezer unless i get near the end and really think i need it. just keep going - you'll get there!

Have only just reached the "Sweet & Sour" goal. I really thought I was going to complete everything within the time frame and the minimum number of appliances TL required...how massively wrong I am. I started the Sweet and Sour goal yesterday as well, have 5 appliances and currently on 10/25 after these 5 are finished. I'll be done in 2 days I suppose... then onto the last goal. That'll definitely take up some time... but I think I finished the Sweet Co goal with the 35 King Sweet that took 1 day each, in about a week or so? With about 6 appliances I think.

Just be careful! During the end of every goal, some players miscalculated their timing AND the goals end 3 hrs earlier than as scheduled. It always makes me sad when people miss out. The machines are 12k apiece and thats s pretty reasonable amount for an appliance. Id cough up the coins instead of stress in the final stretch

yeah, that didn't work. chewytwix was right - good thing i had that 3rd machine ready to go! now it's just 10 rounds of balboa bars (3 machines) in 10 days, so almost there!

Yes, you will need to prep and serve 30 balboa bars. Depending on how many appliances you have working on it, it may be possible to finish :)

If you reaaaaaaally want the goal items, you have the option of skipping steps with gems (for the goal that says Prepare, store the ovens after you launch the recipes, then repeat, wasting coins.) In a few days a whole bunch of people are going to be upset the goals ended a day early and that they missed out on the goal items. So, in case any new player doesn't know you can skip steps with gems/real world money, now you have an option to consider.

Since I am a newbie, I am proud of myself. I joined Bakery Story when the Pirate goals were on, and I stupidly tried to do them. Biggest error ever. I don't recommend doing any of the quest goals for new members. You wont finish it, will get stressed, and waste allot of money.

On a happy note though, lesson learned and now I finally was able to finish my second goal quest thingy. And I have to say I love it. I wasn't all that enthusiastic about the pirate theme, so it wasn't a huge loss for me when I wasn't able to complete the quest. But I love the boardwalk theme...

I did use 2 frozen banana makers and 3 of the freezer appliances. I don't think I would have made it without them.
