sand posted these tips for fireworks..... yellow yellow purple pink black most effective. So yellow being the most important element to include in your dragon and hopefully one that has at least one of the other elements! Which is why lightning was my first choice and its unbreedable which helps a lot!

I used an Epic Leopard to beat it. MBM, thought I was gonna lose but Leopard has a great win record.
Leopard is white/yellow n Super rare.

It took me a few tries to beat Big Bad...I finally got him with clockwork, but other people have beat him with wild, Familiar, fireworks, amethyst and pegasus. It's hit and miss, really. Big Bad took out my Familiar and my Lotus before I got him with Clockwork. Good luck!

It took me a few tries to beat Big Bad...I finally got him with clockwork, but other people have beat him with wild, Familiar, fireworks, amethyst and pegasus. It's hit and miss, really. Big Bad took out my Familiar and my Lotus before I got him with Clockwork. Good luck!

My lotus took him out. Sometimes its not the dragon, but the order of the weapon (M or B) that you used. If you are still having problems winning, go back to a dragon you used and try a different strategy.

Yes Lotus is good against both Big Bad n Kitsune. Lucky I bred 2 Lotus Dragons as back up.
I have a handful of Black ones, but only 2 Diamond Breeds sadly.
Still I could never breed a Mask yet.

You are the champion of the underdog and you will NOT falter. Temporary setback.
Let's see, for Lightning, we want to use S/X - pnk blk blk gem cos ftl zod.
All blacks are down, or just hybrids? If you have pures like Night, Lotus or NightElf, they can deliver even though Night and Lotus are lower rarity.
Consider the green, white or pink gemmies; also cosmics, fairytales or Leo, if you have those for a one-color fight.

If you time it precisely, you can speed the last 2 hours of healing with just 5 gold, so that your dragons spend only 4 hours in the spring.

My Lotus couldn't beat Big Bad, but my Atlantis used Magic and took him down to only a sliver of red on his first hit! A second Magic finished him off. When Lotus lost, I figured I'd try a different super rare since I can't seem to breed black hybrids - they always split! :(

Round 15 - Samurai level 8 - Virtue level 8 won MM (first magic took 90%) * please note on this one I only used virtue to see if it could be done so I could put it as an alternative for players who may not have a lot of hybrids and those on android. Sands advice you may want to take note of as better options for this round could be Lightning (for IOS players who have it) or Kite
Round 16 - Super level 8 - Trickster level 8 won BMB (this was a close match for me, again just trying to throw in some mainstream alternatives, if you have other dragons that people have used they may be better?)
Round 17 - Fireworks level 9 - Genie level 8 won BMM (magic did more damage) *This was a gamble pick based on colours for strength because my lightning is in the den with a titan so if you have a lightning or kite I would try those first
Round 18 - Medusa level 9 or 10 - Origami Level 8 won MM (first magic hit did small damage, second magic did the rest) * I would have used Justice normally but he is questing so if you have Justice I would use that first?
Round 19 - Treasure level 10 - Air lv 10 won MB (magic did little for me and bash finished it off)
Round 20 - Big Bad - Goblin level 6 won MM (first hit not much but second time round took the rest)
Round 21 - Kitsune - Lotus level 6 won BM (bash not a lot of damage, magic finished it off)
Round 22 - Goblin level 12 - winter level 7 won MM (first magic took 80%)
Round 23 - Leviathan lv 12 - firestorm lv 10 MBB ( closer than I'd like but still got there)
Round 24 - lightning lv 14 - Gemstone lv 7 MMB (2 magics didn't do much thought I was a goner but a bash brought it to his knees) * this nasty little fellow left a trail of bodies in his wake so if you have stronger blacks as sand has so kindly put the guide out for they might be a better option but at least this is a last resort option :p

Sometimes nothing works. It is best to take a short break ......n .... Make the computer think you have gone away. Unless you are loaded with gold, but 30 gold is a lot to throw in early stages of the game.

Well babe, you pulled through that rough patch. It's okay. You're approaching the Level Ledge. If you don't have nines or epics for the next 2 rounds, all from 1-8 get the same level score. After that, it's open season on these arena lizards. Go! Go! Go!

Darn it, my Lotus is still healing and I put Yin Yang out against Lightning and got crushed :( Lotus still has 3:30 in the healing chamber and I REALLY don't want to use gold to speed up. That could work...Lightning has a pink weakness and the pink in Lightning itself is pretty strong. I found a record of an epic Tiny defeating Lightning with a single Bash as well, so pink may be the way to go if black isn't available...

I was on level which I won after losing 2 dragons. I didn't receive my pearls, which has happened a few times before. Then the game said it was going off for maintenance. When it came back on the Kitsune had not been beaten, but the 2 dragons I lost beating Kitsune were still disabled. Also it took 2 pearls which I didn't get for that battle. I tried the Kitsune battle again using same dragon(Emerald) which had beat it before and lost. I had no dragons waiting to heal before this double round. I was having such fun before this happened.

Round 15 - Samurai level 8 - Virtue level 8 won MM (first magic took 90%) * please note on this one I only used virtue to see if it could be done so I could put it as an alternative for players who may not have a lot of hybrids and those on android. Sands advice you may want to take note of as better options for this round could be Lightning (for IOS players who have it) or Kite
Round 16 - Super level 8 - Trickster level 8 won BMB (this was a close match for me, again just trying to throw in some mainstream alternatives, if you have other dragons that people have used they may be better?)
Round 17 - Fireworks level 9 - Genie level 8 won BMM (magic did more damage) *This was a gamble pick based on colours for strength because my lightning is in the den with a titan so if you have a lightning or kite I would try those first
Round 18 - Medusa level 9 or 10 - Origami Level 8 won MM (first magic hit did small damage, second magic did the rest) * I would have used Justice normally but he is questing so if you have Justice I would use that first?
Round 19 - Treasure level 10 - Air lv 10 won MB (magic did little for me and bash finished it off)
Round 20 - Big Bad - Goblin level 6 won MM (first hit not much but second time round took the rest)
Round 21 - Kitsune - Lotus level 6 won BM (bash not a lot of damage, magic finished it off)

I have Landworm written down as defeating Night Elf with BM+, B+++, and BB++; Forestfire with M and B++B; Wizard with MM+; Witch with BB; and Aurora with MBB...you still have options! You can do it!! :)

5 gold is apparently the set prize for Rounds 15, 20, 25 and possibly 30. Pretty neat, eh? As visitors to my island can attest, I've won way too many Leviathan pearls. Gimme the gold! LOL

I have beaten him before with epic forest and level 4 dawntree! Hes my next battle too lolxx. Green is very effective against black so pick your best one!

This is a huge deal for me because Helios soaked the arena sand with the blood of my ultras in Yin Yang Test 2.
This was the dragon that pried 30 gold out of my hands just so I could move on to Yin Yang with just two hours left. The only time I've EVER used an Ultimate attack.
I've never been able to breed this dragon. I loathe this dragon. My blood pressure soars whenever I see Miss MegaLips in my arena.
Well, she's gone; dispatched by GOLD. Not gold bars this time - Gold dragon. One slam. BAM!

All cosmics have super-rare status in the arena because they can no longer be bred. Super rare green hybrids or white hybrids will give you a better roll than Pegasus. This is a one-color fight. No way around that. I beat it with Forestfire.

Okay I FINALLY beat diamond using infinity with magic, then bash....but NOW I'm stuck on round 30!!! It's like nothing I do works! I've tried dark angel, I've tried lightning, I've tried a lvl. 8 golem....(at present all my diamond hybrids need to be healed except infinity & diamond) I have a Lvl.7 stone, and a Lvl.8 mask....my virtue is kaput I have many other dragons but need help on beating Phoenix!!!! He's so tough!

Yes it strange, guess element if luck does kick in. Sometimes a Bash is better than Magic n viceversa. I now face Lightning. Will use Elf or Lotus. Maybe Lotus since I have two of them.

Anything with yellow has the potential to take it down. Topaz, Easter, Elf, Fairy, etc. Keep going through your yellow dragons, just try to stay away from purple, pink, and rainbow. You can do this!!

A lot of people have taken down Crusader with Super Rare Yellow hybrids: Honeybee, Scorpion, Seabreeze, Mindvolt, Storm, and Lightning. I'd give one of those a shot. Good luck!!

Round 20 - Big Bad - Goblin level 6 won MM (first hit not much but second time round took the rest)
Round 21 - Kitsune - Lotus level 6 won BM (bash not a lot of damage, magic finished it off)
Round 22 - Goblin level 12 - winter level 7 won MM (first magic took 80%)
Round 23 - Leviathan lv 12 - firestorm lv 10 MBB ( closer than I'd like but still got there)
Round 24 - lightning lv 14 - Gemstone lv 7 MMB (2 magics didn't do much thought I was a goner but a bash brought it to his knees) * this nasty little fellow left a trail of bodies in his wake so if you have stronger blacks as sand has so kindly put the guide out for they might be a better option but at least this is a last resort option
Round 25 - night elf lv 16 - dawn tree lv 3 won BBM ( this was a shot in the dark so I didnt lose a higher level but my sacrifice survived)
Round 26 - Crusader - Air lv 10 won MMM (mindvolt nearly beat him too)
Round 27 - Helios - origami lv 4 won MMM ( first try at Helios was at a complete loss my normal origami is still waiting for healing but I had a level 4 waiting to be traded I thought why not, and there you have it folks beaten first try and I thought for sure I was going to be stuck here a while)
Round 28- dark angel - winter lv 7 won BB (first bash was 80%)

*very tough now it could be any dragons game since I'm not using diamonds but so far one of them ends up getting there in the end

I used Epic Seabreeze didn't work! Wll try Honeybee next but if that doesn't work...The update affects the Tournament too which makes it super hard
for us to beat :P

^^^What lmac said. I went through the win/loss records that Sehana has listed and found the dragons with the MOST wins against high level pure diamonds(lvl 12+) were Seabreeze, Scorpion, Honeybee, and Lightning. Other contenders were Snowman, Storm, Mindvolt, and FairyTale. Good luck!!

I have Landworm written down as defeating Night Elf with BM+, B+++, and BB++; Forestfire with M and B++B; Wizard with MM+; Witch with BB; and Aurora with MBB...you still have options! You can do it!! :)

I've tried all from that list - no luck!
Anyone have any other suggestions?
