Royal Points different...

On the game it says I have 3893 RP. However my neighbours say I have 4153.... Weird. Anyone got any ideas?

You're probably in the process of constructing a royal building. The points your friends see are your updated total.

Glad you sorted it. Also note that if you have expanded to the magic garden/tablet of tabernum but haven't unlocked them your neighbours will also see those points added to your total but you won't.
