So I have enough time to harvest diamond dates twice a day. For those of you with lots of epics are you using rushrooms, upgrapes, or buying food with gold? How many and which crops are you using each day?

I now plant diamondates to build up my food. I do this four times a day. I used to plant rushrooms, but since I have to scroll though the booklet with each planting, I'm too lazy to do so. The most food I collected while just evolving to level 4 to breed or trade was 220,000. Feeding my YY to epic and stainglass to level 7 sucked all of that away.

So now I'm back to planting and hoping I can build up a good stock. I only bought food once, back in November when I got into the game again and had small farms and a couple large ones. I think it was around 120 gold worth. Never had a reason to do that again. I have almost 19 million so money isnt an issue anymore. Thank gosh!

I use the 20 hour scalypears when I'm going to school. Since its vacation, I plant things based on my schedule. If I am saving up for something I used the fire apples or pumpkin wings. When I have a lot of silver I use the diamondtes and rushrooms instead.

I plant upgrapes, the thirty second one, and the three minute one when I know I'll be on for a while.

I plant diamondated about 3 times a day, then rushrooms at night for like 3 times. Once in bed, eliteleeks.

i plant 5 hrs crop (pumpwings or diamondates) twice per day, a few more hours of rush room and then elteleeks. when i need alot of food, i plant diamondates 4 times and rushroom 1 or 2 more times everyday.

only use scalypears once a day. most of my dragons are epic so now I have time to keep a lot of food and dont need to play often

I use Scalypears on Weekdays when I go to school!
I use Diamondates when I'm feeling rich! Lol
And now....I transfer my progress to Android for normal feeding (Lv9 - 1000 Apples) Awesome!

I strictly plant diamondates, 3 times a day. I use to have over 500k food but used some when the tournament came around. Now I seem to be holding at about 350k, feeding one dragon at a time to epic them, unless I get a new dragon then I feed to evolve to 4. But since I don't get new dragons, I have time to epic my oldies but goodies.

scalypears all the way. use to plant diamondates but then I now have 2.15m in food (and 56m coins!). I don't breed new dragons fast enough and I don't think my food supply will ever run out.

i only plant diamonds then..if i dont need to expand..what good is it for to save up money for an habitant when i dont get with breeding the dragon i want?it is just wasted money..i buy than an habitant when the egg is showing up in my nest.

How very ... non efficient

Lets say you're only logging in 4 times a day to plant diamond dates. At 75,000 coins X 6 farms X 4 times a day you're spending 1.8 Million coins a day for food.

I'll suppose that you are also collecting your coins when you log in... so if you're not collecting 450,000 coins every time you log in from your habitats.. which mind you is a LOT considering the limitations of each habitat..

You are .. LOSING coins and are forced to go back to planting longer growing food and still logging in 4+ times a day to make it back up.

This of course is also supposing you do nothing BUT plant food and collect coins... not buying decorations, using the quest hub, the tournament, the healing spring, breeding or any other activity that costs coins.. because at that rate.. well you're out even more.

Either way, the food problem is big.. we havent had new food since launch pretty much. We need bigger amounts and different collection times..

HOPEFULLY thats part of this.. new content.

But.. I wont hold my breath. Many have quit tying to do just that playing this game.

I plant the diamond dates that way and don't lost money. IF you have enough epic dragon you should be fine. It also helps if you have over 15 diamond and hybrids who give money hand over fist.

I still never drop below 18 million.

On this account I only plant pumpwings and don't drop below the 7 million I've saved up.

Well food isn't a issue for me, the only non-epic dragons I have are either duplicates or adults that look ugly in epic so I prefer to keep them that way. But I plant diamondates once or twice a day, otherwise the cheaper crops, keeping my coins hovering around 45 million.

Usually scalypears or eliteleeks. Mostly scalypears these days since all I breed are island dragons so I only check into the game once or twice a day. Sometimes I do diamonddates but I hate how much xp they give. I'm gonna start planting them more though to burn up coins since there's nothing else to do with them.

I plant pumpwings or diamondates twice a day, then rushrooms few times (if I had enough money) and eliteleeks when going to bed
But iOS have a crazy food requirements so I have not a lot of epics

I am level 96 and 90/92 of my dragons are epic dragons. I planted pumpwings nonstop at least 3 times a day, and accumulated a LOT of food because of the ridiculous fail times for the dragons I have been attempting to breed..which means I wasn't using the food very often. I am on Android, and have nothing to spend coins on besides food production(I don't by many decorations, either), so I plant diamondates once in a while. Now that I have over 100,000 food saved up(thanks to those ridiculous fail times) I now only need to plant scalypears daily. Plus, I only ever feed all of my dragons in New Dawn, since they never updated the amount each dragon needs to be fed there..so they all cost the same exact amount of food to level up to epic.

lol that's exactly it. You get to level 100 because of diamonddates when really you should be at level 75.

If we have the same feeding costs as iOS without any features that you guys have, not many android people will still stick around.
