This weeks update is in a whole new edition! Fashion Story: Back to school! Check the thread on last weeks update.
You can download it now, if you want to have a chance at the LTO, or you can wait 4 or 5 days for the quest to pop up to download it, and get 6 gems.

If you are an Android user, you will need to download the new version: Fashion Story: Back to School (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamlava.fashionstory29&hl=en).

If you are iOS, the update content should've been pushed to your device. So if you don't see it, just uninstall the app and reinstall the regular version. Your game's progress is always saved on TL's servers, so no worries about having to start from scratch.

I hear what your saying although last Halloween I didn't do much in my boutique but Christmas I went crazy..and well black Friday as well. For some reason during the summer months I don't spend as much gems anyway..I been kinda bored with the game lately. And not spending money on gems is a good thing for me..LOL well thinking about getting a new device next month anyway so good to save up for that. Trying to decide on a phone or tablet..

Good point! Depends on what you currently use I guess. I personally play the game on the iPod Touch because it's where I started 3 years ago and I never transferred to my iPhone. I just didn't feel like it. But I have an iPad and I've opened up the game on there and it looks AMAZING. I mean, it's like going from seeing your little boutique to seeing it on a huge screen. Lol. So I know whenever I feel like moving over it will be to the iPad. A lot to think about though because Kindles/Etc are cheaper but don't get everything :( [androids].

The update is OK, the LTO is cute but I'm not gonna buy it, I love the shorts but the blouse is sooo overpriced... Also I like the bag but not for for 21 gems.I wish we had something for coins to suit the shorts...
I'm a little dissapointed that we've been asking for so long for new hairstyles and we only get one last week, I was hoping for more this week.

Cute display, but I cannot see it in my shop. The wallpaper, jars and paper lamps all look like they belong in a little kids bedroom. Very creative ideas, but nothing here for me. I like some of the avatar items, like other people I love the tote, but not enough to spend that many gems on it.

I agree the fire thing just isn't for a boutique all in all most of it looks a little kiddish. I do like the catalog but not going to buy the tote for gems. TL makes it difficult for us to complete outfits lately gems for parts of it and to many at that.

I dl'd the new edition but then uninstalled it. Will I still receive a quest to dl it? It hasn't popped up so far.

if you have played it , you won't receive the quest. but in old games ( that don't support quests yet) you can still redeem the gems. that's fashion story 1.0, farm, restaurant, city story and night club. just get the oldest of these that you can get.)

I have Fashion Story Thanksgiving, that's the oldest version I have. If I keep playing that version, will I receive the quest then? Any suggestion where I can find older and other editions of TeamLava games? I found some on Amazon, after I read about it in the forum.

The catalogue is too cute <3 butterfly tote too but why is it so expensive for us :( the top for 37 gems n tote for 21 :( can't you'll reduce the gems or make it for coins...
