Does "watering" wells/ponds count towards the Nurturer badge?

Hi. Since the wells & ponds have the watering icon that floats over them, the same as mushrooms, trees, plants, etc... I was wondering if "watering" the wells & ponds counts towards getting the Trial of the Nurturer badge? Hopefully someone has a definitive answer on this, or can find out. Thanks.

No, I think it has to be plants and such since it's about "nurturing."

I figured it was a long shot but since the wells/ponds use that watering can icon, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. Guess I'll plant a bunch of trees or something and keep my fingers crossed since the Nurturer badge is one of the last 3 I need to complete my collection.
