night dragon?

i know he's probably old hat by now, but having him has done nothing for me! I've had him for a while
now, raised him to level 7, but whenever I try to breed him, black is never in the resulting dragon egg. ever. I have tried every possible combination to the point of stupidity, stil not getting a single black dragon hybrid. so, theres numerous goals i cannot accomplish because he just doesnt breed black! what's the deal?

The deal, my friend, is our ol' friend Color Splitting, one of the main causes of complaints in DS. And it seems there's more to come with blues splitting too. Have a look around the forums.
