I can't keep up either ! I miss a ton of them and they keep coming out like bunnies. Pick your favorites and breed them before they get limited. That's what I do and I find myself more at peace now.

Not me. I've been saying it's the fourth fairytale!
The base dragon, Fairytale (the caterpillar) is the fairytale that TL specifically said was limited. But so what? ALL dragons are limited! TL doesn't need a special tag on a dragon to slap a 2.5-day or 3.5-day timer on it and whisk it away. They certainly don't check with Sehana to make sure their plans correspond to her egg chart.

I would be careful speed breeding right away. There's a rumor that rainbow wasn't actually attainable with blue/yellow until a few hours after it's release, so I wasted major gold trying to get something that wasn't even there. It might not be true, but it makes me wonder why I couldn't get a "rare" after 20 something tries... Especially with the new "rules" that are out, I might wait it out on this one until we know what's going on!

But if black splits into purple and blue (which it does like 99,9% of the times) then yes, 20hrs is a very likely outcome.

I've not seen anything one way or the other in this thread. In the past, I've asked that they state in the thread heading if a dragon was IOS only or what ever. If one goes by color, we Droids should be able to get this dragon, HOWEVER ... there have been dragons in the not so distant past (think one was black and yellow) that we should have been able to get by color ... we didn't. So, I'm of no help with an answer to your question, but ask that same one also.

Yeah, it did suck with tiger eye, I'm still trading black dragons to get the two large needed. But this one has come out and has been bred. So it should be taken as a sign that its for everyone. Id give it a shot. Hugely unlikely it's just for iOS

Then tried hunter/night and got it! That never happens, maybe I got your luck, sorry hun *carefully gives back luck* I'm fumble fingers before a coffee!

I have three black habitats. Been trading my nights since I have night elf and lotus, so I had room for one more spot. My mask is In a pink habitat. I just got an illusion that I'm evolving to trade for black jewels. He will go perfectly. Now other than one spot In a blue and white habitat, every other color is full. If need be unicorn will go in a pink habitat and ill buy what's needed.

I got mine using the Night/Forest combo but it took me 17 tries. I did use gold to rush through my breeding and got possibly 8 Island fails along with 3 Atlantis 2 Hunters and 3 Serpents then finally got it.Wish I had some of the others luck and had gotten it in one or two tries.

And Yet again they have to give the superrare dragon the same breeding time as common island dragon.
Gues i will never get this dragon.i just cant stand trying for a superrare or rare dragon when a common got the same breeding time.
Its like mask all over again getting 25 or more 11 hours breedings and never got the mask. Everytime you hope its the dragon you want but it ends up failing miserably.

I agree with everything you said (This dragon is impossible) But TL no when a new dragon is released people are going to spend to get it, so im sure they make it as difficult as possible. Its more money for them!

Personal Opinion :
1. I see You used emerald as a parent for many times and craftable dragons were splitting already by the time troll dragon released. Maybe that was the reason why you got so many island dragon.
2. Try to limit Yourself for speed breeding, if the price is 1600, then Your maximum gold spent for this dragon is should be half or lower.
3. If You read about someone got a ultra rare, or super rare dragon in their first try, ask that person what did they get before that ultra or super rare dragon...i think the answer would be common dragon, because i doubt that You can get a super rare or ultra rare dragon twice in a row or more in this game....even if You did, the chance are really slim.
4. Try to breed fire with fire for several times after getting a super rare, or ultra rare dragon...to refresh Your luck. But for this You have to have at least 2 nest, one for the previous egg and the second one for fire's egg.
5. No one forcing You to speed Your breeding, so the problem is within Yourself. i'm sorry but that's the fact.

My advice is to let the dust settle on the new releases before going for these. I suspect that TL keep the probability tight on the new releases, making them harder to get initially.

They can strip out gold from the people that really want it and then tweak things once the initial wave has past.

Give it another week once the next Dragon is released then try for it then.

I'm always guilty of Speed Breeding - but this one is deadly. This one is designed to strip you of gold with a 20hr Island in the mix and that 21hr Poison, fails are pretty expensive.

Look at all the other cool Dragons that they are about to make limited and concentrate on those.

Funny thing about breeding is that the dragon we look for sometimes never comes, but we get other good dragons we were not looking for. I was trying for Justice and I got 3 Kitsune Dragons instead.
Luckily there are so many other good dragons to try.
