Cash register problem

My bakery is not making money because my cashier is gone. I have deleted, and reinstalled- she is still gone. Customers are coming in and they have a clock above their head and leave mad. Any suggestions?

Make sure the path isn't blocked by something

Yes, make sure to leave one 'unit/space' behind the register clear. You also said the costumers have a clock over their head, are you sure that there is food for them to be served?

Place something in the cashiers place like the Candy Princess, for example

Are they walking in further then the first step? Or do they turn around right at the door? Can you post a screenshot? Sometimes having others look helps :)
