Some items not showing up in Magic Forge

I have been wondering where to get mithril from and a lot of people are saying that they can craft it in the Magic Forge, along with being able to craft other items in there as well. I have completed the goals with the Magic Scissors. I have the alicorn, and am working on the goals of trials and tribute. Is there something else that I should be doing to make these items appear in my Magic Forge or is there a glitch?

You need to collect a 4th shard from the tablet and complet the goal that will show up, it is called Alchemy. It gives the possibility to craft jewels, silver and mithril at the forge. The goal requires jewels and silver, plus coins.
