All my food on the counters disappear after I start cooking new food? Why?

I had five items on my counters. But all disappear when I was trying to cook new food. Why?

Sorry dude once you food is gone, it's gone. Teamlava needs to fix this.
I cooked 4 pots of stew to come back and find them gone. 

I cooked 11 servings of mac and cheese twice. About 3/4 of them disappeared after I served it on the counter. Team Lava, can you take a look into that?
