Dragon egg message but no egg

I got the dragon egg was spotted message when I was collecting but game updated at exactly same time (although I had been in game for at least 10 minutes) checked forge and inventory - no egg. Any recourse - so frustrating since its so rare a drop

That is just the info about the update, I doesn't mean you got the egg.

Hmm...don't think so...think the daily update caused a glitch and I didn't get egg. Have had the egg before

I, and other neighbors who don't have the egg, have received it too. Did the goals pop too? I am interested to know exactly what happened, in case I had the same problem as you (I got the message above when collecting from my game while it was updating too).

The egg is available as a rare drop from the forgotten roost. The popup at the start is to let you know to collect from the roost to try and get it.
