How do you add friends please.

You can post your ID on your wall and ask people to invite you. You can visit other people and ask them to invite your ID. If they have their ID on their wall you can go to the social tab, click on the invite friends tab, enter their ID and press the button. That sends the invite which they'll need to accept.
