I purchased 500 gold to buy fairytail habitat, it said 4 mil coins or 500 gold,, how ever when I went to purchase..my gold was turned into coins and then said I didn't have enough! :( please check into this) thank you

This habitant is only offered to buy with coins.
I think what happened was when you tried to buy it, you did not have enough coins, so you got the option to purchase coins with gold which you did, but you did not have enough gold to make the full purchase.
You can send an email to support@teamlava.com and they can check your game and tell you exactly what happened.
