Feature Overview: Battle Arena Ying Yang Dragon

[Update! Today (July 3rd) we released a copy of the Yin Yang Battle Tournament to another test group. This means another set of players will be able to try out the feature!]

[Please note: we are only doing a test release of this feature at this time. Most of you will not see this in-game yet because we're still polishing this feature. Some details are subject to change before the full release.]

Hello again, dragon fans!

Today we're test launching a new enhancement to the Battle Arena feature: Tournaments!

Tournaments provide a new and rewarding way to experience the Battle Arena. Before, your dragon opponents were randomized and you had to win 99 battles to craft the Leviathan Dragon Reward. With tournaments, you'll face opponents of increasing difficulty until you go head to head with the Tournament Boss in the final round! Defeat the dragon boss and win a copy of that dragon for yourself!

Did I mention our first tournament boss is a brand new dragon?

Did I mention that it's Yin Yang Dragon?

Oh, and don't worry if you haven't finished collecting 99 Leviathan Pearls from the Battle Arena to craft the Leviathan Dragon. You'll still win pearls for winning rounds on your path to fight and win the Yin Yang Dragon.

You'll see flags on the arena and a reminder on your screen whenever a tournament is active. Battle Arena Tournaments are only available for a limited time, so get your Healing Springs ready and level up a good assortment of dragons so you have the right match for whatever opponents we throw at you!

I updated to 1.5 and my Arena is now decorated with a red banner.

I must say, this feature is very well done. What isn't well done is the fact that a Level 1 Fire Dragon can beat a Level 10 Elf.

By the way, for every 10 wins in the normal arena, the game should tell you one type advantage and one type disadvantage. Then we can all work to finding out what is good against what.

And one more question. Is Passion's magic the same as Pink magic, or is it just the same aesthetically?

FAQ

When will this feature be available on Android/Kindle?
All I can say at this time is that it will be available on Android/Kindle, along with all of the backlogged features. We're working on a way to catch things up and keep them caught up. Your patience is appreciated.

I updated and I don't see the Battle Arena, AHHHH!
During this testing period, we're only releasing to a small group of players. Stay tuned for the larger release!

Why are some of my dragon opponents higher than level 10?
To challenge higher level players. Keep in mind though, the most important factor in determining your chances of victory are the colors of your dragon in relation to the opponent's colors, not the level.


So how do you know if you have this or not? Confused...

It's 40 gold for the ultimate move that would defeat any dragon. So far the opponents are level 1 or 2. A fire, cosmic, water and light. They kicked my diamond hybrids butts.

It's possible, but difficult. Considering the Level 1's are crushing our Level 10's, I don't think we'll all do it.

To do it all in 5 days, one will definitely need some gold on their side. I've won four matches and lost about 8. I want that dragon. He can sit in the nest for a while, that's fine. I love the contrast with the black and white.

Yes, fire was my first dragon. Oddly enough, my mercury lost against it. So did crusader and Anubis. It was forestfire that her him. The nerve!

I would absolutely LOVE to get this new dragon! I couldn't ask for more exciting things to happen in this game in one day! Well, maybe one more thing......

He also beat night (3) mega bash
Amethyst (3) weak bash mega magic
Topaz (4) weak magic mega bash. Tried virtue level 6 first and that lost
Fairytale (8) beat mythic (4) weak magic mega bash
Atlantis (10) beat stone (5) with a mega bash

You were able to breed passion during valentines day, by breeding the leftheart and rightheart dragons together. So the colors of the passion dragon are maybe pink, blue, and purple?

It looks like a Black/White Dragon, so I'm assuming it's like the Moon Dragon. Whatever people use to beat Moon could be useful against it.

A neighbor also has the red flag but said she doesn't have the tournament. From what we've been told there are only 30 rounds. It's up to us to reach it within five days. With no gold to speed and my dragons getting slaughtered I don't know if ill do it in time. I really, really want this dragon.

I also think its just a night/light dragon. Doesnt have any mythic qualities in it at all.

Thanks got the Battle Arena too and they have adjusted the fight time to one hour. Previously it was two hours.
I am checking up to make sure I dont make silly mistakes. Got 20 injured Dragons ha ha.

I have tried with Mindvolt, Atlantis, Diamond including Diamond hybrids, still cannot defeat Crusader (L18). It's different from what I' ve defeated those previous Crusaders (this one is at such a high level). Anyone here had passed this level and defeated it? Help needed...

I have tried with Mindvolt, Atlantis, Diamond including Diamond hybrids, still cannot defeat Crusader (L18). It's different from what I' ve defeated those previous Crusaders (this one is at such a high level). Anyone here had passed this level and defeated it? Help needed...

Amethyst (3) is wrecked like everything I have. I don't like when you 3 hit it down to like nothing, but it's first hit always seems to take 50% from me.

Used Wizard (8), Light (8), Life (9) and Forest (10).

Any advice or is it all luck based?

It is an awful lot to cover. Especially when baby dragons are beating epics so easily. Even if you use the one gold to fight again, you have to cover a lot of bases. Ill applaud the player who gets the first ying yang. I just hope they don't resort to using 40 gold to fight anything. This is insane. And Ive only won 5 matches so far.

Yep.. frustrating! On my other game I had been struggling with a kitsune I tried lotus 1st and lost tried some other dragons in the meantime healed the lotus tried again with it and won the match with a single mega bash

Passion uses Pink, Fairytale uses Air, Cosmic uses Magic, Mythic uses Fire, Stone uses Light. But they are all their own element, damage wise.
