Isnt it strangely easy this time around? I'm paying attention to the colors too. Now night a throwing me for a loop. Hitting him with all blue/purples I have and his hybrid kids, but he's still a pest. Will try twice more and may have to throw gold at him, to just move on.

Yes, i was not looking forward to DA but he just rolled over (however last time DA was lvl 18, that may be the difference) There is still that random factor but yes you really do need to pay attention to the colors

I beat medusa with epic virtue. If your virtue isn't available, try kitsune. or another pink dragon.

I got my clock cleaned several times on level 20 Epic Mythic and finally used the light dragon level 7 and almost got him with one magic. I finished him with second magic but a bash would've done the trick too. Just thought I'd share since I didn't think I'd make it past that one.

A little advice to future questions. Read this thread and the original thread. All you questions are answered in it. Thats where i got the answers and thats why its great when players post results. Sucesses and failures.

Actually, after all these battles and reading this thread, I can almost see a pattern..... from round 5 (now, i'm at Helios, round 26?), have been using it, and 95% works for both my a/c.

Use the same dragon 1st (prefer epic or higher lv thn opponent), 98% win til round 20 (when dragons starting to get higher lv). If lost or dont hv it, continue with dragon of same element. 95% won. Trouble is the diamond hybird, it's very random. If all fail, then start looking for suggestions on forum :(.

So far, without using any gold, I managed to battle til now with 7 dragons in the healing queue, and 2 are from the normal battles b4 this YY tournement start.

A word to Jake: The battle was fun. But why does it have to start immediately? Players go away, life interrupts playing, people get sick and can't play. Why can't the five days start when a player first plays their first round and not on a specific day you (TL) chooses? It can still last for five days only but people who can't start immediately would be able to play.

I know you said it is for those who are avid players, but real life sometimes prevents use from playing occasionally.

Those last few rounds were tough!! Light proved very tough but eventually beat it with epic Mistmoth. I used Wild on Poison and Mistmoth saved me once again beating Yin Yang.
Yin Yang egg now safely on the nest, but boy do I have a big queue of dragons waiting for the healing pool!!!!!!!!

Ok just beat scorpion with tusker level 7 and yin yang with serpent level 7. I never used ultimate attack and I never used a diamond or a diamond hybrid barely any were epic level and the only time I used gold was to speed up the round. The last few levels required several attempts but I was determined to see if I could do it without diamonds or epics which you can do. I hope that this helps some of you not to feel defeated

Plenty of time. You may need to used the four gold to speed up rounds but not much. Just pick wisely. Read this and the original thread mid way not all of it and take notes of winners and losers. You can do it.

It's definitely possible to do it without gold. I'm happy you wrote this. This time I got through the first 20 rounds without gold. And I really have itty bitty baby dragons. The ones at epic are the originals, pre new dawn and considered weasels. I have one diamond, quetzal, unicorn and two angels. Not the best bunch. But with the right color combos I did it decently. When I got towards the end, my panic set I'm prematurely and the fiasco from the first time made me use gold. If I'd waited I probably could have won using nothing. But I've learned and will def be more prepared should we get this again, with another dragon. All my babies will be healed and at epic!

Is this for dark angel? Would black work against it? I really want to finish the tournament, I'm so close to finishing, this is frustrating. Would Pegasus work against it? Black is supposed to be weak against white and green and you can beat diamond with white.

For black dragons, try high level, high rarity green white and cosmic dragons. This includes dark angel. If you have a diamond hybrid use it. I got him with epic crusader.

The ultimate attack is the last resort. Takes 30 gold, but you will win. (I believe).

Only if necessary. Do the next several hours without it. Then if needed you can use 4 golds to speed up your arena. But wait before using gold. You will need it. There isn't enough hours left, but you may have to use 30 for ultimate towards the end.

I mean there isn't enough hours left to do it without gold, but hold off as long as you can. Say, 6 hrs. left. (or use gold now and get a head start on winning yy) Read through this thread and the original battle arena thread. Gather as much info as you can, wins and losses. Pick your dragons carefully .

Level 14 DA just ****ed my crusader level 4, and just to save time, I speeded the arena with 4 gold, and used 30 gold on the 3rd hit, so I ****ed the DA.

After beating the Helios finally with Gold and waiting to battle Mask, guess who was there when the battle was available again.....Helios. Luckily I scraped out another win with Gold. I swear after another hour that the Helios is sitting there again I may go crazy. Or crazier. Hoping this is not a glitch.
