Can you imagine that your win chance is only 15% even when you use the right dragon?

They just make the arena battle harder.

I can safely say the new battle system is atrocious. Correct color + 9 levels above + higher rarity = loss is terrible. It should be more like Pokemon, not luck based. I don't want to win/lose in exactly 3 or less moves.

Thank you TL for putting together this challenging tournament. It was close to the wire, but I now have an attractive black and white ******d egg in my nest!

I ended up having to use an ultimate attack on the second to last boss, but other than that, no gold was invested on rushing healing or attacks ( I did rush a few battles for convenience sake). So, Yin Yang can be achieved by non-gold buyers. However, I think it would be very hard to finish the tourney without at least some diamond dragons though. I have 4 of them, and wished I had more in the final rounds. Overall though, I found the tournament very fun and exciting.

I beat DA and helios using anubis, YY using aether 1 bash. The most difficult part is round 28 DA and round 29 helios just use gold i suggest if you can't beat them since you are nearly end it. YY is far more easy than those 2.

I got it but the battles were definitely harder than normal and i had to use some gold at the end cause i ran out of time. I think 4 days is too short unless you don't sleep. I know idea is to buy gold but I think once in a while it would be nice to have something that didn't use gold. Just a suggestion to keep people interested as not all have unlimited money to spend. Glad I got to test it, it was fun!

Quick question: do You still get leaviathan pearl after winning a battle ? I'm asking people who are/were in the test group. Because I'm not, still using 99 battle to get leviathan version. Got one leviathan, and I want to get another, but just afraid if by the time they (TL) release this version, leviathan pearl is gone, and cannot get the pearl anymore.

By the way, i've been reading some posts saying that Your dragon is injured because You lose in a battle. I have a tips for this:
Just do 2 attacks everytime You battle ( bash or magic are up to You ), and if you can't beat your opponent within those 2 strikes ( no critical happened ) just restart Your program. That will counted as lose the battle, coin, and have to wait another hour before battling again, but at least Your dragon is saved and no need to be healed.

Admittedly the boss yin yang dragon looks great but I don't know when I'm gonna go into my arena next. I'm level 31 and I'm up against a triceratops dragon, a dragon I am not at a high enough level to breed myself. This is also only the third battle and I've lost 3 times against it with higher level dragons. The first 2 battles were just to let you get used to how the mechanism of the whole thing works but if I can't breed the dragon I'm facing other than the boss at the end it could be called unbalanced or unfair.

I gave up on tournament. Was so happy to see it but the battles are ridiculous and I can't spend tons of gold on it. Besides I bought some gold so I could buy a dragon then accidentally spent some of that gold by hitting that blasted clock on bottom of screen. It's habit, have been clicking it for over a year to see timer. Since then I've done it bout 3 times. So yeah with all the gold I spend by mistake, I sure cant afford to toss them gold for their newest ploy to suck our money. Coulda been fun, if only they had it make some sense and not make it have to be so many in such a short time. Some people do have other things to do.

Okay, this is ridiculous. Who has played Pokemon? They need to take a page out of their developers book. Level SHOULD matter. Type advantages and rarity should make a difference but if your dragon is level 10 and rare and there's is level 1 and common and immune to your type attack you should still be able to beat it with the physical attack. This is the worst scam I have ever seen. Also who is annoyed by the fact that we can't evolve past level 10 (not that any of us could ever afford the food costs to do so because they are currently so astronomical) but if they are going to have level 20 dragons we should be able to evolve past level 10. Since 10 is epic I am not logically able to see where they are getting these mysterious level 14 dragons. This game used to be fun now it's just cr@p. I've been buying gold until after $30 failed to get me either eclipse or saturn dragon. It doesn't matter I stopped feeding any dragons past epic when they started taking 10,000 food 5 times to get from level 9-10. What a waste. You've gotta love good old American greed.

You have to win the tournament to complete the goal, not just the first battle. This is the first tournament you have competed in.

I have done this Frozen Turtle, and got the yin yang dragon (currently evolving) but the goal hasn't gone away, I didn't get my rewards, and now the red flag has disappeared from my battle arena, so no more tournaments,

Second time I used Fire 10 against Forest 1 it smashed it with just one bash! This is really unlogical, TL, first battle I'm not even close to winning & the second is a one hitter

Use high level and high rarity for battling, if You don't have one yet, and don't have any plan to use ultimate attack which cost You 30 gold, then don't battle. The more You win, the more hard opponent will be, and i believe they cannot be beaten by a mere common dragon. I'm sorry...but that's the fact. My level 9 crusader was lost against forest level 1 by the way.

I used Fireworks Lv 10 BBM after Magic & Diamond failed. Ck pg 81 of this thread for someone's list from the 1st test group. Someone made a list of stronger/weaker but I honestly can't remember where that is right now.

Sped up the battle process. Figured the last 10 battles will be the hardest and will take more time and have some exhausted dragons so I figured I would allow myself some more time to complete them. Hope these results help you guys out.

If you don't have the dragon someone else used to battle with, use one with the same first color, or all colors being the same, in the same order. I don't want to jinx myself, but Im starting to think this third round of battles may be aimed based on the dragons we HAVE. Or else I went through hell the first time and know what I'm doing this second go round.

My point being ive beat the dragons ive been up against for the first 9 rounds. I just defeated Samurai in two hits with wizard. The first time, with more powerful dragons behind me, I lost over a dozen dragons before I even more to level 4!

I hope this luck continues because I seriously do not have many diamond or epic dragons in this account. I'm saving the unicorn, one diamond, quetzal, two angels and crusader I have until the very last moment. Because ill need them. I have maybe three pinks and 4 black dragons. Not exactly a bunch I'd think is the greatest. I said I wouldn't fret, but it would be nice if I could get YY with the few I do have.

I have been flying through this tournament too. I don't know if I am winning because I am reading this thread and the original battle thread and choosing my dragons carefully or because the game got easier. I don't have alot of the dragons either, but I do have epics of the same elements. Like, I used night and won while others used dark angel and won-same first element.
I have done this with several battles, matched the first element to a dragon I don't have and won.

I figure its the element and level, not the dragon. I don't have helios that alot of other players used in the past games to win, but I do have mythic whose element is equal to helios.

I hope this round continues the way it is, and that my theory holds true.

Round 1 to 19 is easy, since Your opponent's level is low. Your winning percentage is above 60%.
From 20 - 23 : Your Opponent's level are from 10 - 14 but they are rare, so maybe Your winning percentage is 40-50%
From 24 - 29 : Mixed rarity from rare to ultra rare, high level, winning percentage is 20% to 40%

Theirs aren't epic either. And I won 13 matches in a row and used different dragons then the above. It is possible to use others. Read the thread and get different ideas of what can be used to battle the dragons. I do know it will get tougher as I go further. But hey, its fun.
