Land Clearing cheaper?

I was about to clear a bitter bark that's been sitting a while and it's only 200k. Do anyone know how long this will last? Thanks TL!

So far it's been going on for about a week. Number of maps needed to expand has gone down as well, but times and expansion prices are the same. I've cleared 4 squares with 16 maps, and removed everything at about 1 mil coins total since some point last week
