News/messgaes blank?

I'm new to this game, but play several other TL games.
Is the news/message board in this game supposed to tell me when people have played with my pets?? Most of the time mine is just blank, only time it comes up with a message is when someone has sent me a gift. In other TL games it tells me when people have visited.
Just wondering???

The Messages screen tells you;

Gifts that your neighbours have sent you
Neighbour requests
Gift requests from neighbours

So unless you write on a wall, no one knows you have visited?
That is annoying!!

Exactly.
When someone visits your shop and plays with your pet you get an extra +1XP on that pet, and you may also find shiny items on the floor with usually give you +1XP too.
