How can you be so sure of that?? Remember the cinco de mayo goals were the final prize was hidden? Lets hope they give us something suitable for the effort we're going to put into making all these recipes and constructing appliances! :)

I seriously doubt they will give you the royal booth(25 gems) for free. It's already available in-game unlock when we gotten the updates and the goals. So it couldn't be. But even if they do, I'm sure people who have bought it will be mad. And I'll be one of them. =x

Midnight PDT is reset time, when you can start tipping, gifting, and requesting again. Whatever time it is where you are when it's midnight in San Francisco, in other words.

All the goal sets I've seen since I started have been like this - you have to work back and forth between them to unlock each part. One part of a goal will unlock part of another one, and part of that one will unlock part of another one, you'll be bouncing back and forth between two or three goals the whole time until eventually the whole set will come together. It's kinda confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it. :)

It probably is a part of the oven goal to make it more compatible. Since the sandwiches and tea go together well. I wouldn't worry about it too much. But yes, with three separate goals for one particular line, makes it eye confusing.

On android I haven't done a lot of the previous goals. The Mexican ones needed more than I was willing to give. So they and the early Loretta goals are there, which means I have to click through them all. Such a pest!

That is a part of the sweetco goal line. Does It still show up for you? The end is where you get the chocolate cupcake sliding board fountain thingy. The description is extra because I don't remember the name of it!

Maybe it was open for sale for all those people who are too lazy or just don't want to do goals.

Or it could just be a mistake, it happened before in restaurant story that the eternal flowers, originally a goal locked item, were open for sale to anyone, they fixed it a couple of days later by putting it as a locked by goal item.

Either way, you can probably get a free booth from completing the goal even if you already bought one, make it one big dinner party table :)

I can understand you wanting to give all players the opportunity to have the Royal Booth, but that should have been made VERY clear at the beginning. Usually when we do goals the items are locked. So I don't think there was any way the players were supposed to know that was the final prize.

If you want to make your platers happy, please refund the gems! All those wanting their gems returned could email with the details you need.

It's an easy fix. If you install a new goal where the goal is to have 2 royal booths, the goal reward is 25 gems. You don't have to individually add back gems to everyone's account, just those who had purchased the booths earlier. Those who felt wronged would be content and this would not be too difficult for TL. The only thing is we will have an extra booth that will sit in our inventory.

Please consider this as a possibility at least. I don't want to open my bakery and be reminded this misunderstanding every single time I play.

How do they expect to stop losing players if they keep making us angry. Seriously TL, Explain to me how this wasn't a gem trap? I have no issues with making booths available to purchase or the player can choose to work through the goals to get one free. What bothers me about this is that TL seems to put the blame on players being misinformed. You never labelled this booth as being the final prize. In fact a few pages back in this thread TL remained coy about saying what the final prize was. This is really shady TL, I'm hugely disappointed.
Lastly, I did buy the booth last week and when I complete the goals I will email TL for a refund. It's really annoying when companies refuse to admit their own mistakes. Despite this situation, I thoroughly enjoy these games and will continue to play them. I guess next time I'll be more vigilant on this forum.

TL during the last week that the Challenge Goals expire you should Unlock the Prizes or displays to give players who didn't finish the opportunity to purchase those items. Just an idea because I think this is a fair way to open up the goal prizes to every player. This would be beneficial to lower-level players or people who weren't interested in participating.

I do want to reiterate that this was absolutely not designed as a gem trap; while we of course encourage gem spends, we never want to trick you into them. We understand your confusion & frustration, and so we have made some necessary changes. The Royal Booth will now remain locked until the final goal has been completed, at which point it will be unlocked & awarded to the player. Once unlocked, additional copies of the Royal Booth can be purchased for gems.

It would make sense to have it as a goal locked item at first and award it when goals are completed, but then when the goals expire, let people have the option to buy it for gems and remove the lock on it to enable anyone who didn't get to complete the goal or didn't want to, also have the opportunity to buy it.

I believe this will make everyone happy, both goal seekers and players who don't have time or don't wish to do goals.

That would actually make the most sense if TL was really trying to do what they said and make it available to players in more than one way. The fact that they did it it the underhanded sneaky way they did means it was a total gem trap. I'm pissed and I didn't even buy one! It's a total scam, and I can't believe they ever thought they'd get away with it. All they really accomplished is making a whole bunch of people way more cautious about spending gems on any display that comes out at the same time as new goals. And I think it's more than a coincidence that one of the devs suddenly started participating in the forum right around the time the poop was about to hit the fan.

Seriously TL, Explain to me how this wasn't a gem trap? I have no issues with making booths available to purchase or the player can choose to work through the goals to get one free. What bothers me about this is that TL seems to put the blame on players being misinformed. You never labelled this booth as being the final prize. In fact a few pages back in this thread TL remained coy about saying what the final prize was. This is really shady TL, I'm hugely disappointed.
Lastly, I did buy the booth last week and when I complete the goals I will email TL for a refund. It's really annoying when companies refuse to admit their own mistakes. Despite this situation, I thoroughly enjoy these games and will continue to play them. I guess next time I'll be more vigilant on this forum.

BUT! I want you to know that EVERY update I roll to the end of EVERY category where locked goal items are so I know what I'm going to get as rewards and I can assure you and everyone else here, the royal booth was NOT shown as a locked goal item until days and days after the goals showed up. Had I seen it locked, I would've put 2 and 2 together and figured it out. Its difficult to believe it wasn't a gem trap when it was hidden from the locked items. Please TL, keep your word. People work hard for those gems.

They told us to wait until we finish and get the second one unlocked. I think it will cause confusion for them if we ask for our gems before completion. Me thinks a couple folks dont comprehend the game very well there. Believe me I want to do it now! Those gems would go well to my saved one, so I can maybe buy something nice, if ever a reasonable item comes along again. Because I'm not buying gems ever again.

We need Daijoin and Ginja around more often. Ever since the price difference fiasco on farm and fashion during Xmas, Daijoin (too lazy to scroll back to see the correct spelling, sorry!) has been a vey decent manager. Now ill be good and log off for the night.

No. We seriously do not enjoy this. You should have warn us beforehand that the royal booth is the final prize reward after completing all the goals. And not just openly place the royal booth up for sales for 25 gems when the goals just started. It wasn't lock as a goal in the first place and also there's no indication in-game or on the forum that the display will be a final reward. After many of us have bought it not knowing anything, there you go telling us that you have make it available in two different avenues to get it. Either by completing the goals and you will get one for FREE or by spending 25 gems on it. Do we look like we can read what's on your mind?

Like I mentioned in my earlier post before, who in the right mind will spend 25 gems on the royal booth display if you know you can get one for free after completing all the goals? And I can assured you NO ONE on the forum know about all these new changes! You should have know what the outcome will be, since it's been mentioned on pages 4 that the royal booth can't be a final prize reward. Otherwise, many of us who have bought it will be very upset. Just saw all this kerfuffle about the Royal Booth and I'll add my anger to all those here. Brought a booth, stored it away and now can't even access it. I've got a while to go before finishing as I'm only on the Scones. I did have a feeling that this might have been a gem trap (no matter what spin is put on it), but brought one anyway. I'll be waiting to see what the response is from support to others who will be emailing before I do. I don't want to waste my time if the response is going to be "no gem refunds at this time". Grrrrrrr......

It is being considered a gem trap since it was offered for 25 gems on day one of the new goals and was not communicated anywhere via forums or update messages when opening bakery story or even showed on day on as a goal item locked. This is the first time TL has made a goal prize offering at the beginning but did not tell us that this is what was. If it had been communicated from the get go then the hostility and frustration would not have been displayed I'm sure on this forum. Everyone would have been able to choose which avenue suited their game play ie complete goals get it for free or skip goals and purchase it on day one.

As MrGinja mentioned, this was not intentional. We offered the option to earn the item through the goal or exchange Gems for it on the Market to accommodate different play styles. However, due to the feedback, we realize that this opportunity wasn't well received and worked together to resolve the concerns as soon as possible.

You don't have to complete the goals before you email Support. Completing the goals first is a strategy some players are using so they're able to have a Royal Booth on the board while they work on the goals. After they unlock it, they email Support for assistance with the extra Royal Booth.

If you prefer to go ahead and submit a request, that's fine, too.

First, I'd like to thank the moderators of this board for their patience and assistance on this matter and various other situations. Second, I think it's great that TL is exploring different strategies to make gameplay more fun and interactive. This makes playing funner for players of all levels. Hopefully, you've learned from this situation to notify players of changes instead of assuming that players would figure it out. Lastly, I know it's difficult to create a game where everyone is pleased. I appreciate the efforts that customer support has done to resolve this issue for myself and other players.
