Yea...I'm doing the goals just because they're there, not for any particular prize. I really like their idea of a birthday party but could have done a lot better than a petting zoo (and for a restaurant no less).

It has a picture of a bunch of balloons (different than the wall balloons we just purchased). I know we can purchase any floor decoration, but I really like those balloons. I can't find them in my design bar. Anyone know where they are or why I can't see/purchase them?

The balloons shown are simply the previously released Carnival Balloons. If you are using an Android device, you will need to download Carnival Restaurant Story (Released around Mardi Gras) to buy them. They are $8,000 each if i remember correctly. Apple users can find them in any recent version farther in the back of the list for floor decorations in design.

You should be able to buy any floor tile, even coin ones.

I have an "outdoor park" in my restaurant, it still wouldnt look good if i put that petting zoo. So just to make sure that's it? It unlocks nothing else? Im really hoping that i can just pass this goal...

I don't think there is any right or wrong in how a person decorates as it is personal preferences in this game. I live on a farm and have eaten meals with baby goats, chickens, turkey's, geese in the house so I'm use to the animal factor and it's not like the little people in our restaurants are real and have sensitive noses, lol. I think the petting zoo is very cute and well made. If it isn't your cup of tea, then maybe the next theme will be. :)

It said buy 2 decorations... It doesn't have to be the carnival balloons

The reason you don't have them is because you must be android and to get it you had to download carnival edition

It's a wall decoration. So make sure you have nothing but wallpaper up on your wall and then try placing them on the wall.

That's good. I'm glad you're close. That's one good thing when doing goals, the content we need is usually more reasonably priced. If there is one thing I would change is having to buy more of one kind of wall or floor decorations then we usually want or need. Good luck with finishing your birthday party. :)

It's kinda weird how Phoebe asks you to get a Petting Zoo at the same time as she asks you to get a Birthday Party Oven and cook up Pretzel Dogs but only after that unlocks the Petting Zoo, when you've probably had the Petting Zoo goal for ages now!

Put some of your other appliances in storage to make slots available. Just don't store any that are cooking anything or you'll lose the food and the coins you spent cooking it. :)

Hmm, didn't see that. Besides, you were right, I bought my second Birthday Party Oven for the goal Start the party and it required no parts! That's helping me, at the moment I've served a tenth of the pretzel dogs (three pretzel dogs, if you can't do the maths:))

You can only have so many appliances out on the floor depending on your level.
You can store another appliance (make sure you are not cooking anything on it).
When you store one , then you can buy a new birthday oven.

It's a 4x4 size decoration. Do make sure that you have 5x5 empty size space to place the decoration. You can also try moving it around. :)
