Ya, that's a real bummer! Last week I had just upgraded my amphitheater after scrimping and saving like crazy for THREE weeks, and when I was repositioning it in Edit mode, I accidentally sold it! I had to start all over again. I was majorly bummed for days. I feel your pain.
