Everyone should STOP STOP STOP writing great reviews of the new design! As much as we love it, the prices seem to go crazy high every time we are excited about an upcoming release. We should use reverse psychology and say how much we DISLIKE it so that the prices will be low. lol. :D

I second that. Every time I'm hyped about something, I am usually majorly disappointed...ESP with weekly updates. However, I think the goal rewards have been great lately...way better than the first bs goals

It's the shadowing; it's too harsh I believe. Plus, the "glass" top is too blue, wish it was a tea/brown color at least. I'm just hoping there is other floor d?cor in this update, because where I see potential, TL can squish it :P

Ywah the shadowing and those grooves in the cup that really bother me, I don't like it. Blue and gold should work, but they're just not working here. I would rather have a light pink cip (like the Pastel Lounge kind of pink) with gold trim and make the cup footed. I can see it so well in my mind, I just can't draw stuff like that.

None of the upcoming quest items will be gem-only items; they can all be earned/unlocked by completing the quests. There will of course be additional items included in the update that can be purchased with gems :D

Isnt it adorable? The small circle green chair has always been one of my favorites. Then the cupcake chairs grew on me. I wish we could have gotten the ones from last valentines. This one would suffice, IF it isn't an outrageous amount of gems.

I think you're right that it's a goal or LTO. I also think it's more likely a goal because RS also has a big floor decor as part of its update and the two games have been offering larger displays as goal rewards around the same time. I do see the two tea cups on the counter, so there are two new appliances for sure.


However, I'm not exactly wowed. I'll bet the walls and tables cost gems, and the chairs and wall decor cost crazy amounts of coins. The people eating dinner also remind me of the mother's day dinner display. The guy is standing up, the kids facing away, the cake at the centers of both displays are very similar...down to the last strawberry! If it's for LTO, I wouldn't buy it.

*screams* I logged in and was greeted by this absolutely adorable update! (I don't check the forums that often, heh.) I usually try to keep my decor all calm-mellow-cafe themed but... This is the one theme that I would completely renovate my bakery for! I don't even like pink but... everything is just so cute!! The only thing I don't like is how I have to wait for my neighbours to send me all the parts I need for the new appliance... I want to start making the new recipes right away!

Fun. Fun. Fun. I have been saving coin for my expansion. Do i expand or redecorate? ha! Looks like my bakery is going to get redecorated. I have almost 8 million coins. With this update, they are burning a hole in my pocket! I don't know if I can control myself! I don't like pink or princesses...but I love the tea room theme and i love new appliances and i love new recipes and i love goals. This is going to be a ton of fun. I only wish I could trust team lava with real money. I want to buy gems! I get burned in the traps too often...so I spend no real money. So sad :( this is an update where I really itch to buy gems. I know I am at risk of sounding like a broken record...but please add a confirm button on box purchases. Then I would feel comfortable spending my real moneh!

Thank you for the feedback. I haven't started anything yet. I have some ovens that have over an hour left. When those are done the fun will begin. I am just chillin and sending all my neighbors their requests. I like to plan a liitle before I jumpn in. Your post helps. :)

All I skipped was building the kettle for 1 gem and the very first baking goal, which is really like 6 or maybe 10 of one of the recipes. I wish I paid more attention, but I really didn't spend many gems. And everything is for coins except the large booth that isn't a goal item.

I love this update! I hope next week I more of the tea room theme. The more I unlock the more I love this update. I wasn't sure about the sugar cube chairs, but seeing them in my bakery confirms it - I love them. I also LOVE the lamp. It is so cute. I am really excited about the new tea recipes too. That was New Years item from 2011-2012. It was retired in early 2013 with the rest of the 2012 holiday items. You can buy any tile.

I want to formally thank the designers at team lava this week. For the first time, i feel like real thought went into these goals and the theme is one that users said they wanted. I've always felt like bs was meant to be fun, whimsical, and really elegant. This update fits the bill for me, please keep it going! And I really hope the designers hear our feedback this week, this time for better instead of worse :)

Yup, that's exactly what I meant, thanks for explaining OnCloudDivine :) There must surely be something at the end of all these goals or why else go through the hassle of giving us two new appliances which btw aren't that easy to construct? There would simply not be a reason for us to finish the goals otherwise, but that's just my opinion.

Am I in the minority here? I don't really care if there is a big end goal. Dont get me wrong...I love love love my waterslide and mariatchi band. I am happy for a big reward. I hope we get a big surprise...I just feel like the new appliances themselves are worth the effort of constructing them. The new recipes are a good reason for building. The gems for mastering those recipes are a great reward for the building effort. I don't feel put out by the number of parts required either. There is plenty of time to get done, especially if you start right away. I like the challenge. I am I alone in thinking the thrill of the hunt PLUS two new ovens to master, with at least six new recipes, is worth the effort? A big end prize would be icing on my tea cakes!

@myferngardens These goals have already cost me 300k, only bought one oven, but went all out for the other decor, if that gives you a good idea of how much these things will hurt you towards your next expand :)

Yeah, I think it's kinda mean of them to show the pink sparkle tile in the goal. They discontinued it without warning, so all I have is what I had already purchased for a small section. I woulda got way more if I'd known! Now with bigger areas, I gotta get creative. I've already changed everything around from my previous pic! :)


The more I tHink about the tile the more I don't like what's going on. I think Team Lava needs to offer that pink tile again. Why would they illustrate that PRRFECT tile and not rerelease it? Put it out for us TL. It was rude to show it in the goals and not offer it. New players, like me, never got a shot at it.

That is very true, however my point was I want that perfect pink tile. It would have been nice to see it back and available since tl used the image in the goal. My coments were not about completing the goal...I did that yesterday. My comments were about that particular tile and the way it was carelessly depicted although unavailable as a choice. I would have loved the royal booth.... If only the queen had been different. Come on its supposed to be victorian, and if this childish pinky fairy has anything to do with plump austere queen victoria im queen elizabeth myself!!!!

You're not alone at all, I feel the same way, I'm usually more excited about new appliances than new decor that'll drain my expansion money. Besides the rest of this update is pretty cute...a surprise at the end would really just be the icing on the cake ;)

Why do you think it is modeled after the Victorian era? Just because the couch is Victorian doesn't mean the Royal Booth is. In fact, the teaser for this update took on a more "Alice in Wonderland" approach :

To do so make sure you have it in your inventory than start placing it. The key is to NOT STOP until the area is done. IT WILL continue placing and charging you whatever the cost was until you stop the Motion. If for some reason you have separated areas, put a few back in storage and then repeat process. This also works on adding additional wall tile. The key is you MUST have purchased atleast one before it was removed.

Yes. Remember though, that the sparkling pink tile was initially sold for gems. 1 gem per tile. So, be careful there.

Every time i want to send gift tea time parts to my neighbors, i have to scroll the gift option up to the last pages, it consumes my time, because i gift my neighbors personally, not mass gift. I love this theme. I cant decide on which way I want to go with it so my bakery is just a mish-mash of tea-party light pink and dark pink goodness. I *really* hope they keep putting out quality updates like this one. Close your eyes for just a second and imagine them coming out with a few more of the themes we desperately want, and them being mostly coin or goal items...Ahhhhh.

I can't get them!!! I have a Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD. I have never had access to the SweetCo station, winter oven, the tea stove, and several other "goal" items? It is very frustrating. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

@Creamypuff, when you lay tiles do you have to go into your store each time to click on the tile to place/purchase it? I am on an ipad. I don't have to go into the store each time.

So for the heart tile shown in the picture, even if though it is no longer available in the store I can still purchase it. What I do is replace one heart tile with another tile, e.g. a regular white tile. Then i close the store tab and reopen it. The store will show that i have one heart tile in my inventory.

Yep. That's why adored2 issued that warning at post #131! So be careful when placing tiles or wallpaper no longer in the store!! I've been caught many a time by that. >.< I like that i no longer have to go into the sore each time to place a tile but I HATE how easy it is to mistap on an area and end up spending a gem or even coins on an extra tile or wallpaper i don't want.

The teacup table goes with sugar cube chair, but that chair is locked for players who didn't do the "Tea Time" goals in 2013.
