Crashed my iPod!!!!!

The app will not install on my iPod touch 4th gen. It just says waiting and won't load, and I can't get any more apps because it's 1st in my list. Please tell me how to fix this.

This has happened to me before, all you have to do is hold the turn of button at the top of your iPod keep holding it untill it says slide for power off then do the same thing to turn it back on
