Combating monsters - silly question

Yes, it probably is a dumb/silly question but when combating monsters the number of hits is sometimes 5, sometimes 3. Does it make a difference on which sword you use? Go ahead...laugh!

It's not a stupid question :) It doesn't seem to matter which sword you use. I just rotate through the three options, occasionally double tap for kicks.

I think that every strike, one of the three sword options does the 2 damage instead of 1, so I guess you have to pick and hope you get the critical hit.

And to answer your "stupid" question, all 3 have a chance to crit but I always do left, centre, right, left, centre, right. Seems to **** stuff faster for me.

I always start on the right!

If I get a stroke that gives energy, takes 2 health or does both I keep doing it until it just does 1 damage with no energy. I then move on to another one.
