Does the alicorn bug affect manticore?

Just got a manticore egg which is now hatching in the forge. Just wondering does the alicorn disappearing upon maturing bug will affect the manticore as well. I don't want to lose my manticore.

It's been my theory that the manicore's are eating the alicorns.

I agree. They are even eating up the parts before the alicorn is born. Still no parts in sight.

I have two manticores... And today got a part for the alicorn... But still havent gotten the alicorn wing.. So still waiting...glad i got the second horn after ages... I am not using VALENTINE edition but current one.
