How do you break the ice off the bombs?

Earlier levels you had to drop at least two blocks to break the ice off something. Nothing seems to work for the bombs!!!:mad:

It has to be at least 2 levels and land on something hard or the bottom of the current level. If its landing on a fruit block it won't break.
