Need Game Advice!

Hi,
So, I am new to the forums and need some tips on how to do well in this game.
Like for starters, what is the best way to get glimmerdust? I always seem to run low on them and don't know what the best way to get more.
Also, What level do you need to reach to build more than two workshops? I always seem to run out of building supplies. I'm on level 17 btw. The only reason i accomplished so much is that i broke down and spent $$$. Now i want to try to move forward without spending so much $$. And i seem so goal orientated that i want to focus more on marerials and coins. So any advice?

Glommerdust can be gifted, mushroom circle, dead tree, sit pig, and troll.
Max is 2 workshops and tinker camp will also work as a workshop .. Just keep collecting from resources and finish goals

Red circle mushroom drop glimmer dust the most. Play the other tl games they give u gems then save them until u have enough to buy what u want. Oh and heaps of Pantene if your not using dollars because it can be done just takes longer

thanks for the information. I'm trying really hard to not spend on much on this game. I will take a look at these links, thank you mod. also, how do i attract the sabertooth creature more often? I am looking for more bones to finish this goal on barons caravan.
