I've recently found a odd problem with my restaurant. It's like when I wanna try to gain more quantity of foods, so I left the foods on the counter after the foods have done cooking and also I'll use my host table to block the door in order to stop customer from coming it so that I can save the foods until all the counters are full then I'll move the host table away and let customers to come in. However, it doesn't work so. Despite no customer coming in, my restaurant will earn money and serves the foods itself, I'm pretty sure I've blocked the door and there's no customer around to have their foods. Therefore, how could that happen? I've asked several Restaurant Story player, and they told me this had never happened to them. Any way to solve this? Thank you advanced

Yes, this is a know issue. If you want to completely block customers from coming in, use a table to block the door. If you use host table, they'll pay for their meal through the door, kinda like take out haha :D Hope this helps.

Blocking the door is not part of the design of the game. It is a work around that some players have found.

The game will usually quick-sell all of your inventory if you block the door to your store. When you block the door, you may not see the customers coming in, but our system will still recognize them walking in and buying your items. When you open your door again, the consumption that took place while your door was blocked catches up, which is why it looks like you instantly lost all of your items.

If you want to avoid the quick-sell, don't block your door.
